Morning DC
I am in awe of your ebay/amazon profits :T I managed to stick 4 things on ebay yesterday (which are all identical so only one write up and one photo!) and if they sell for the minimum will make me a grand total of 4 quid :rotfl: I would love to get into Amazon selling but it all looks so complicated?
Hope your cooked breakfast was nice  I dont 'do' breakfast, kids had 2 bowls of cereal and I've had coffee. I must start to take better care of myself on the eating front. I intended on making a pork roast tonight but forgot to take it out of the freezer last night, I took it out at 8.15am this morning and it's bigger than I thought (reduced from £10 to £2.50 in Mr T's :T) so doubt very much it would defrost in time. So I've decided to do something that I don't think has ever happened in this house.....we are not having a roast on a Sunday  I've taken out 2 packs of (reduced) mince and I'm gonna do good old mince n mash
Have a good day xxDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Thanks girls, breakfast was totally scrummy, don't you just love baked beans ?
On the OD baseline 'tis not going to be easy, think I'll have to dip into the vaults, just £20 to see me through the week.
Scrooge - rumour has it you had sunshine yesterday ?
Jo - I do find ebaying totally tedious, but eventually it pays off I guess. I have had some pleasant surprises on a couple of items.
Am sticking to the menu plan, have the basics of this weeks menus, hence the £20 required.
Right this washing up isn't going to do itself...DC.

You can do it.
You're right we did see the sun, but there was an icy wind. I left my scarf at home and regretted it. Am going mad. Trying to find a DVD of a movie I know we have, I haven't sold it but can't find it anywhere. Whilst doing this I just find stuff, totally, completely useless stuff. Panini football stickers from cereal boxes or somewhere. old OU cd's, broken belts, old dog toys that have more fluff than substance....ugh !
So have come downstairs to locate a black bag and for a tea break because at least 100 things are leaving this house today !DC.

I've been busy hunting down Weezl and have found her blog which may interest you.

Thanks Scrooge, been there before but lost the link.
I do have one problem in that these two giants of mine are through and through carnivores and I'm a 'pescitarian' and 'pollotarian' (think that's right - not that I stood for election !) I eat fish and chicken, and jelly babies.
Though Weezl does have oodles of veggie options I see.
It's such a great site though, visually and user friendly.DC.

I love meat, fish and chicken too. We buy all ours on a quarterly basis from an Organic butcher and Fish Monger in the North of Scotland. It goes in the freezer and I try and spread it out over three months. It's fantastic quality, but not cheap.
I am a bit of a foody. I love good food and wine.... DH is a keen cook and gardener, so from now on, until November, I will have an abundant supply of food from our garden, which will ease the budget.
I am contemplating making friends with the old boys at the local allotment, to see if I can do some home grown food trading. Is that wise???I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
Scrooge, although I profess to be totally useless at gardening I know how good I'd feel about home grown veggies.
I'll bet the allotment boys would welcome your suggestion. Plus the sense of community is an added bonus.
DS1 has just taken it upon himself to declutter his wardrobe, my word the NSPCC couldn't have have done a mail drop at a better time, funny enough I needed two bags and lo and behold Sue Ryder cancer trust have just done the same mail drop.
Now for my 100 things...
Organic butcher you are lucky. I'm sure there is one around here as I'm close to rural, just not investigated.DC.
