Friday - Inset day, means my two are happily snoozing, and I don't have to rush around finding, PE Kits, lunch boxes or keys, before going to work.
Right I'm £80 into the O/D until Paypal payment hits, that's not going to happen until Tuesday at the earliest.
But I do have food, petrol and £20 cash for the weekend. However I am aiming for a no spend affair as the boys have their own plans and I can continue with the great declutter/tidy up.
Been alcohol free for the last 4 nights, which is a total of approx 18 throughout April. Sleep has been wonderful. No dark circles under my eyes. However tea and nicotine remain my demons.
Looking forward to a busy pottering weekend.DC.

Hi DC,
My boys are also on an inset day:) Whilst I don't miss the morning rush I could do without their constant fighting. Will they ever grow out of it ???
I must confess to having some wine last night ( as I was sooo stressed) and woke up feeling Bleugh .... remembered why I no longer drink on "school" nights;)
Have a good weekend:)

They do stop the physical fighting, mine are at the verbal insult stage, there is the odd door slam, and grunting contest - they seem to understand each others verbal grunt as an insults. I think it's either progress or evolution....
So I am hoping you get some peace this weekend.DC.

Morning.
May - a month of mixed emotions for me, but I'm a big girl now and have to keep at it.
I'm a bit of a dreamer and the thing that has been at the forefront of my mind recently is how life will be when I'm financially competant, secure, independant, you know all those big words for not being in debt. This thought has kept me going.
This month I'm going to have another attempt at getting things done.
Boiler needs servicing.
Cooker hob needs an engineer.
I haven't finished repainting the bathroom ( bought wrong paint).
You get the drift, so armed with pen and paper I will write my to-do list and do it !DC.

You've done brilliantly with your debt repayments DC. You've paid off almost 1/3rd :T.
I hope the month of May is a happy, goal busting, humdinger of a month for you.
