  • Morning
I won't deny I'm struggling a bit here. Financially. Owning a car is an expensive responsibility. Paying out over £500 this month just for the privilege, and thats with cash back on insurance and getting the AA to reduce annual fee. Things are tight - again. Seems to be a recurring theme, still don't think I'm trying hard enough.

Put the heating on last night, watching those meters and recording details weekly.

Not much planned for the weekend which suits me.

  • Right, motivation took a dip for a couple of days. Picking myself up as there has to be downs on the way up right ?

October/November are expensive months. I need to get a handle on it properly throughout the year. As looking at Nov, TV licence and utility bills due, well that's as expensive as October, throw in Christmas and DS2's B'day- I'm on a downward spiral for 2010.

So no more procrastination today, that pile of stuff to be ebayed is going up. There's at least £100 sitting there cluttering up my house.

On the positive side I've menu planned and shopped for two weeks at a cost of £160, have £20 cash for top ups. I've cut the lawns, and made inroads into decorating front room.

The various piggys lying around that I emptied the other day they are going to be renamed ready for October next year.

This debt isn't going to magic itself away.

I'm with you on that. I think the main thing is not to give up and throw in the towel, however tempting it may be .

Up and down days are par for the course.

I think you or Pickle recommended a book on here called 'The Now Factor', on procrastination. Well my copy arrived a couple of weeks ago, and I have just got around to opening the package :o. Looks like it could be a good read though.

    Have a good day.

  • Things have to get better ! Had a negative day yesterday, seemed to run around doing everything and acheiving nothing.

Broken equipment at work, assumptions that I will get on with it without the tools to do the job, lack of communication from the powers that be.

Grateful to get home. Printer given up the ghost (me and printers don't get on.) Dropped and dented my remoska pan, DS2 had plateful of pasta/tomato/mozzarella/basil tripped flew across room, dinner lands on pale carpet....happy dog ! Carpet now covered in bicarb hoping for a miracle. Thankful it wasn't tonights tandoori chicken.

Today will be a good day .

  • Thanks Saving Holmes. If I didn't laugh about this I'd cry.

Playing with snowball again. Due to total financial quagmire over the next two months have temporarily abandoned 1000 days to be debt free challange, will readjust in 2010, but for the the time being am focussing on what I can acheive. Therefore boosting progress ?

    That makes DFD Jan 2014.
