  • Mmm, just not sure Hypno, well out of the early years education loop for nearly 6 years. DS2 says do it, it's easy ..

Oh the stuff, there is more to come, but slowly slowly. Loads of it in fact. But as I said going to be kind to myself.

Wage slips, bank statements........and screwfix catalogues! Why one man had so many Screwfix catalogues, I will never know :rotfl:

As for the job, if it is a case of "its a long time since I have done that, so I don't know if I am good enough" then go for the job - you will have experience that others don't have, even if it is some time since you have used it.

If it is a case of "I don't know if I want it", then apply - if you don't get it, it doesn't matter. If you do get it, then you can make a decision about whether you take it.

If it is a case of "I don't want it, but I should probably apply for it" then don't stress over something you don't want anyway, and don't worry if you don't get round to getting the application in.

  • Wise words, think I'm just scared. Feel the fear and do it anyway comes to mind.

  • Yes, DF, feel the fear and do it anyway. you would have nothing to lose because you may just get the job, if not you have given yourself more experience at going through the process of applying, possibly experiencing the interview process, all of that will help with your business and people skills! And one thing often leads to another, you may hear of other opportunities for eg.

  • Right it turns out the TA post is at the moment temporary until end of the Summer term next year. Need find out why and if it could be a permanent postion. Don't want to put employment status at risk.

So here we have the last day of September. Month started well, few blips. It is sort of fizzling out, ready for outrageously awesome October.

Mini marbles challenge didn't go as planned, have to wait until next statement to see current status.
Alcohol free apart from one Saturday evening. :T
    Still smoking.

Decluttered three important areas, work in progress.
    Ditto decorating.

Real effort put into job searching, this is the real key, need better income and a 'new' way of life. Dead end job doing me no good, mentally, emotionally or financially.

    Keep at it.

  • Congratulations on what you have achieved in September. Sounds like you are making real strides forward, and your decluttering took a lot of courage x.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

  • It was "The bad news is i'm the pilot, a couple of month's ago, as the plane was in nose dive."

But, big improvements have been made.

Looking forward to awesomely outrageous October, plans are in place. We can do it.

Reading that list of September stuff shows that you have done a huge amount - you must be so pleased and feel pretty good about it......you certainly deserve a huge pat on the back from me :T

Good luck with the job hunting - something right will turn up for you, quite possibly when you least expect it.

As you say - keep at it x
