Sassy - now there is a great word that I haven't heard for a long while.

What will Sassy September look like for you Different Corner?

Glad to hear I am not the only adult with a timetable Kirstenc.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
  • I wish I was organised enough to have a timetable . I did buy a "family" diary which has a column for every family member + any other things. The only column I created & use is credit card/ bills due . Would be a great diary if I used it properly:confused: . Perhaps in September  . Poor, September !!:rotfl:

  • BTW , Kirsten, I was born & bred in Dundee, now living in SE England.... ( for 21 years now ) BUT still think of Dundee as home.;)

  • I've never been any further north than York ! I will admit that I am a southern softie and the temperatures I hear about north of the border absolutely terrify me !

Scooge - Sassy September will involve a major leap forward in all areas. The smoking, the drinking, the budget, the house receiving TLC, job searching everything. No-one else is going to do it for me so better find my marigolds (other rubber gloves are available).....What will it look like, mmmm trying to think of a witty metaphor ...

Made some progress yesterday, but still piles of 'stuff' around the house, think thats the task for the day after a catch up on here with tea and then dog walking.

September isn't going to know what has hit it!!

My aim for September will be to deal with the post everyday so it doesn't form a big pile next to the sofa, to cut out the crap I find myself eating so that I can lose a bit of weight, and to tackle another room in the house. I think it will be the dining room, because that just needs painting, and the PC moving, or the kitchen, which needs a bit of tiling and stuff done as well as general cupboard clearing. I suppose that as September is only the day after tomorrow, I really should decide what I am going to do

  • I can eat crap, I'm really really good at it ! Particularly minstrels. Have been known to devour a walkers cheese and onion crisp sandwich (white bread, loads of butter) in solitary moments. Is there a thread for for this kind of behaviour ?

That's a perfectly balanced diet -carbs from the bread, protein from the butter

I am the world's best at sneaking in crap into my diet.....what I eat in full view of others is actually quite sensible. What goes into my tum, though, is another matter :o But from Tuesday, whilst I refuse to "diet" any more (psychologically bad for me) I will be endeavouring to eat a little more healthily with all crap in moderation only!

I did consider a detox for the first few days of September, but the thought of how grumpy I would be at work next week has scared me somewhat!

  • Weather dismal here today, definete chill in the air.

Have worked my way through two piles of paperwork, including Barclaycard statement which I suddenly realised I'd underpaid by 6p !!! Don't ask, quickly rectified online, hope I've saved myself a default by tackling paperwork.

Shreddy the shredder is now relaxing after a hard mornings work.

:naughty: Not a good idea. Its a well known fact that detoxing gives you spots and bad breath:eek:. Chocolate , on the other hand, fights all the bad bacteria in your body AND actually reduces stomach fat:shhh:;)
