My DS has been back at school for two weeks and despite name tags, he has managed to lose:-
1 brand new pair of Clarke's shoes . Managed to find them after a full scale investigation.
1 new tracksuit top for gym. Still missing.
1 new drink container. Still missing in action. (this was his second already this term after he broke the first one).
I could weep, just typing this. I suppose I should be grateful, that DS has not gone missing yet, but Forest School starts next week .....
Anyway, well done on the excellent start to Sassy September DC. Keep up the good work!I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
Scrooge I feel for you and your list of lost belongings.
Didn't finish sewing was too wet after dog walking, and kitchen looked like something out of Willie Wonkas after DS2 decided if he couldn't go out he would make a chocolate cake.
However whilst melting the chocolate in a bowl/saucepan/hob method, bowl became lodged in pan, vacum created, an hour later ended up with much loved tupperware bowl being smashed and saucepan dented...hammers, garden steps many other tools involved. Ah well.
Bit of a bump with Egg here, increased APR to 21.9% from 16.9%. Am niggled but mustn't take my eyes of the prize Marbles is still the baddie.
Another day off, £30 to make as I didn't make a bean yesterday. Soon change that. Intend to list a few more books on Amazon and/or ebay.
There is a rumour I may sew the mametags on the trousers after resisting a nifty little gadget in the Lakeland catalogue that prints them and they are iron on for £20.
Now to catch up....DC.

Had to chuckle at the vacuum chocolate bowl thing - oops!!
I agree with aiming for marbles - work on one big target and get rid - it is amazing what difference it can make just focusing on one thing and attacking it rather than throwing bits and pieces at more things.
Have a good day, and get those bloomin names tapes in! Mind you, you are ahead of me - I have still got school shoes and trousers to buy!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
