Morning all!
Sunny here at the mo, plenty of clouds too, but not those horrible black ones that thundered yesterday!
Was up bright and early to take oh to work, and quite enjoying the peace and quiet at the mo! Just had poached eggs on hm bread, delicious!
OS today will be making some hobnobs, a cake of some description if I get a move on, more bread, yoghurt, S&S the kitchen and bathrooms and hoovering and threatening dd1 about the state of her bedroom again (not sure if that's OS really, but will be happening anyway!)
Off to a friend's house for lunch with the kids, will be lovely to catch up and gossip, and my dd3 is quite excited about meeting my friend's new piglets - she's asking which one we're having already, not as a pet I hasten to add, but for our freezer!
Dinner for the kids will be cold roast chicken, bought ys one yesterday for just under £1.00, and chips and salad. Quick and simple as their dad is arriving tonight to stay with them, still not quite worked out why they can't stay with him, but there ya go! I am off to stay with oh for the weekend, and so our dinner will be whatever I find in his cupboards, which will be whatever I put there later lol!
There's a beer festival on the sea front, so we'll prob pop along to that this evening and sample a few drinks - well, it'd be rude not to support it!
Hope everyone has a good day, and now going to make another cuppa and catch up whilst it's still quiet! xx
Edit:
Haribo, Hermione and Sunnygirl - I hope you all have fantastic birthday's! xx
Aussie - good luck to oh with his new job xx
Bitsy - wow, a photo shoot, let us know which issue and we can all have a gander at your oh, and well done him! xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Redruby - we have suicidal thrushes here. We've had five fly into the conservatory windows over the last two weeks. Only one survived and was able to fly off once he'd recovered. I'm going to try and find some cut-outs of birds of prey - apparently, if I stick them on the windows, it will stop the thrushes flying too close. They're such beautiful birds; it's awful to find yet another one dead on the lawn.
Kathy my mum and dad stick old cd's on the glass of the conservatory, the reflection scares the birds off apparantly
Aussie, oh no, whats wrong with Basa, is it going to be horrible, good luck for DH and his new job xx
Bitsy, good for DH :T how much weight did he loose ????0 -

Morning everyone
Many many thanks for your birthday wishes from Wednesday - they made my day!
Happy birthday to Haribo, Hermoine and Sunnygirl - spoil yourselves rotten ladies...
Sorry I haven't been around much, I am having a little break from OS - I'm sure my enthusiasm will rekindle in future. Otherwise...today is the first day of being unemployed again... I managed to find a job eventually earlier this year however the company was running at a loss and they had to cut down spending and so I got the chop. They "might" be in a position to rehire me in the new year, but I can't wait that long. Big big big sighs while I gear myself up to look for a new job..
All the best everyone

Pippa.S - thank you - we've just had a bout of absolutely torrential rain!!!! Fingers crossed it dries up by lunchtime...
Snowy, sorry to hear about the jobI hope something else comes up for you very soon. I have only recently returned having had some time out too, just too many things to juggle & be goodly-enough OS... (as opposed to once a week!).

Redruby - from his heaviest to now he's lost around 7 stone all in. He's done it gradually so has managed to keep it off. These were in the days when we were first living together and I hadn't discovered the joys of OS :T
Will let you know when his pics in the mag so you can have a nose. He gets a copy to keep but not sure if he's allowed to put it up on Facebook etc due to copyright etc.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
