I can get Virgin Media Cable
Quidco are doing £65 cashback and Virgin will give £20 credit.
It will cost me £17.50pm for TV, BB and line rental. happy days!0 -
I have just phoned the PO and they have confirmed that the line is a 'Wholesale New Line' so would incur a charge of £107 to reactivate the line.
Looks like I will have to go for a TV, BB and phone package. Any links or good deals I can go to save asking in the 'Internet Access' section?

The cheapest bundle '(L' BB, 'M' TV and 'M Phone is £19.50 excl Virgin £20 cashback and Quidco £65 cashback. Factor those in, add £11 per month line rental and average monthly first year cost is £23.41. After that it's £30.50 per month. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I've spoken to virgin media tonight about a tv, bb, & phone deal. They quoted £25 per month (including the £11 pcm phone line) and IF your credit check is ok you also get a free netbook (mini laptop?).
Not sure what happens if your credit check is not ok?
Has anyone else done this deal? It seems good, or am I missing something?
Also I guess I could do this via Quidco for some cashback?0 -
Hmmm... phoned back to accept the above, the chap I spoke to was engaged on another call so I talked to someone else (just before they closed at 8pm) & he told me I'd been given the wrong information. Apparently you need to spend another £15 per month on mobile broadband before you can get the netbook, (so total of £40 a month). This is definately not what the first guy said.
I wonder if I can hold him to it? I know their calls are recorded so they should be able to double check what was said.0 -
No you can't hold him to it. You didn't sign up there and then so if they gave you the wrong info the offer is not available now. the only reason they would give you a 'free' netbook is to hook you into a longer and more expensive contract than you wanted. Concentrate on the features you actually want, not the freebies. No free lunch, and no free laptop
