That is the Unlimited Weekend Plan, only the other two indicate a 12mth contract

Also why isn't my £12.49pm deal on the main site? Surely that is the best deal around?

Your £12.49 deal is the £11.25 deal plus £1.25 for having paper bills isn't it?

Unlimited Weekend Plan. For new and existing residential customers making at least one chargeable call a month with BT. Only £11.25 a month line rental with Direct Debit and paper-free billing. No minimum term, unless you order a new phone line or switch your phone line to BT from another provider, where a 12 month minimum term applies to line rental.

What do you mean by my deal. BT or Tiscali ?

Cheapest BT Line rental is £11.25 a month (online billing)(paying by d/d) 12 month contract.

Been with Tiscali for nearly 2 months and no problems, despite the few horror stories. Lets face it all ISP's are not perfect. I got quidco validated as well:T

I have calculated £12.49 for broadband and line rental from Tiscali once cashback is paid. The only thing that is now puzzling me is how to get a landline number cheapest.

Bt have confirmed that there is no line present and would cost £122.50 to connect or do this free if I join on a 12mth contract.

Is there a cheaper way to do this then? All I want is a landline or so to obtain BB from Tiscali.

Are there any cheaper TV, broadband and line rental packages? ~£20 pm?

Its an 18 month contract if you want free connection from BT. If thats no good to you your have to pay a connectin charge to somebody to get your line working.

Not " perfect " maybe, but trust me there are far better ISP's than that bunch of muppets.

Would not be able to move your line rental with this deal as you would then be charged the connection fee by BT that they had waived initially when you took up this offer.

There is a BT box in the house, so why is there no line??

There is also an NTL box and I think Virgin was installed previously.

So I guess teh only way is with the Post Office then cancel as suggested....

This was already explained in post no. 10. It depends if the line is disconnected or not. If so and the box and line are still physically there, they just need to be reconnected at the exchange.
BT don't bother to come round and rip the box out if the service is cancelled.
