    Hi,

I've just been to our local ford garage for a test drive. I had contacted them a couple of weeks ago as I am genuinely looking for a fiesta. The salesman didn't know about the promotion but took my voucher & Nectar card details and said it would be fine. When we returned from the test drive he went to the office & came back saying a colleague had just told him they weren't participating in this promotion!

He is going to see what he can do & I've asked him to hold on to the voucher just in case he'd throw it away. How can I find out where the participating dealerships are? I can't find the link on the website, it just lists all the local garages.

    Thanks

If you look to the right of the garage telephone number it lists their facilities, such as:
    [New Car sales]
    [Service]
    [Ford Rental]
    [Nectar]
    [Motability]
    [FordProtect Used]

If it says [Nectar] you should be in luck ;)
Thanks to all who post constructively.

Nope, the two nearest me that say Nectar on them, both dont take Nectar cards (either that or they were both making it up).

Just taken my dog out for a walk and went into local garage and asked if they definitely need the voucher besides the d/l and nectar card...............................and they do:(.

I missed out too, I forgot to buy the paper!!

I wouldn't rely on the above to be correct. One of the major chains where I live has stated to be participating - when it's not! Best to call to confirm before you go further!

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.

When they asked which car I wanted to try I said "any". They got the idea and gave me the points (I hope) without test drive. Will wait and see if they actually go on!

went in this afternoon in Oldham

asked to book a test drive mondeo
nice salesman did ask if i just wanted the points(he was happy to give just the points and said people have just come to get the points) or test drive and i said both as i am looking to change the car if i get the better deal!

very nice car shame about the budget but never mind i got the points with receipt!

    thanks to the OP

Hi went down today and booked a test drive for tomorrow. I had taken my photo licence but said I also needed to paper version that goes with it. Let's hope it all goes tomorrow without any probs.

Is that the case for all test drives for this promo? Is the photo licence not enough then? Will have to find my paper copy somewhere (no idea where though) if that is the case!! :(
Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:
