BE QUICK!... 10,000 Nectar points (£50) for Ford test drive

Just got back from a 15 mile trip to the only Ford dealership I found anywhere near me that was willing to participate in the scheme. Tried several others on the phone who clearly weren't interested as soon as I mentioned the Nectar promotion and said they weren't participating even though they are listed as Nectar dealers on the Ford website.

So its a big thumbs up to the very nice salesman at Greyhound Ford in Accrington who gave me a reciept for the 10000 points and said no need to do the test drive if I didn't want to, so I didn't. Salesman wasn't interested in either part of the driving licence, just the voucher and the nectar card.

The ones who were not participating / not interested are in the following towns

Bolton, Preston, Blackburn, Horwich, Chorley

If anyone has any doubts or feels the sales person will not add on any points, do what I did... I called Nectar and advised I had been in and had my nectar card and driving license photocopied and advised that the points would go onto my card, (but I had major doubts he would do this)

Nectar made a note on my record that I called, and says they would investigate if the points did not go on but had to wait 28 days.

Just cover you're back as the offer is way too good to be missed due to some sales person not doing what they stated.

Makes it much easier for other people who want to try the offer (ie, me lol)

Only problem is that the main draw is on 2 May - so if not added you will not be in draw.

I am not bothered about that, It's a bonus, but settle for 10,000 points is what I care about.

The garage MUST give you a receipt, so phone and ask when can you collect it

As Dazza requested, Plymouth are participating. Once I asked for a test drive the salesperson actually asked me if I was Nectaring, instead of me having to bring up the subject.
She put through my card and gave me a receipt. Also said it was no skin off her nose if I didn't want a test drive (though I did) so as long as you have the voucher from the paper and your Nectar card you should be OK in Plymouth.
