Could we "officialy" come out of recession tomorrow.

Could we exit recession tomorrow? Quite possibly yes - and is there anyone out there who seriously would be upset by the news?
And if not tomorrow then soon - Darling's forecast of a return to growth in Q4 looks solid despite the howls of derision at the time.
Will a return to growth bring instant relief? No - but its a step that has to happen before "real" recovery comes about.0 -

It makes you wonder if we had gone into recession properly as we should have 5 years + ago where we would be now and would it have been as bad as this one is going to be in real terms. And as another thread stated I don't think Dave has any more answers than Gordy as to how we sort things out.I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0

You're probably right, It will be the figures that Dave will be quoting as why he thinks we are on the way out of it, when the man in the street knows the truthI bet your be saying that again in 5 years time.

The official state of the economy changes that is all the world stays the same.
The markets will react to what ever news not just sudenly shoot up just because we had become "officialy" out of a recession.0 -

No he did not, he said.Dont worry, most of the bulls data comes from the land of the optomist! Never fear! Recovery always just around the corner! (Just ignore market fundamentals, real data and just pay attention to market opinion without looking at the real facts!)
That is not a request for facts as far as I can tell.
