thanks jamtart, ive sent an enquiry just incase.

where can you get refurbed iphones??!

ive already sold my old camera, my ipod touch and i will trade two old phones in on fonebank shortly, plus ive got a few bits on ebay taking advantage of the free insertion fees to try to make enough money, its like an iphone project!:D

Mad though, whereas i used to pay orange 40 a month for my mobile and broadband (480 a year!) i worked out yesterday (with the cashback taken into account) im going to be paying 23.50 for a year of broadband and 135 for my mobile, therefore £158 for the year, even though i have to supply my own mobile phone! well done mse's and martin lewis!!:T:money:

Well the sell refurbed ones in America, so I assume (or hope in the future) they will sell refurbed ones here http://www.mobileburn.com/news.jsp?Id=7525

As for the £440 its more that I can't justify the cost rather than can't afford it. I could buy a laptop for the price of an iPhone!

Anyway to keep on topic, my simplicity went thru at £33 then up to £100 before the deal ran out. Fingers crossed I get the cash.

  • Same (£100 + £10) deal is on topcashback - would still rather use them after previous problems with Quidco (and TCB has no annual fee) plus with cashback top-up (up to 10% extra cashback)

I signed up for this as my wife's phone contract is finishing in end Sep. But yesterday she pointed out a package by Vodafone at £25 per month for 24 months with a free blackberry AND first 3 months FREE. Only thing is its got 500 mts but unlimited texts. Also Quidco gives £95 cashback for Vodafone. Now I am considering whether I should cancel the O2 one and go for Vodafone. For an average of £22 pm (without considering cashback) I would get a new blackberry effectively making it cost £48 when compared to the O2 deal

    Pros for O2
    1) 12 months only
    2) £20 per month

    Cons for O2
    1) No phone
    2) 3 months free at Vodafone.

    Any thoughts ?

Here's a general question about the Simplicity tariff, can you have it on Pay As You Go and top up each month by e top up or does it have to be a contract? I'm asking as my company pays half my top up per month by e top up card so i have to be on a pay as you go tariff to get the benefit.

Also I left Orange after 10 years for the iphone on PAY As you Go as they didn;t offer me a free Blackberry. Had to pay £540 for the iphone 32GB(Carphone Warehouse don't seem to sell the 16GB on PAYASYOUGO or at least don't want to) but i still think it's better than getting it on a 18/24 month extortionate contract! Annoyed that Orange have now got the iphone they could have told me that!

My cashback was tracked automatically on Quidco, but still waiting for the payment to come through.

Does anyone know if this £100.00 cashback is likely to be repeated again anytime soon?
