The likelihood of you having to appear in court is the same as you winning the first prize in the lottery. This company is relying on hollow threats which they won't follow up, they would be laughed out of court. Sit tight and keep the faith.

Reading these threads and about how this bully-boy tactics are scaring so many people, I am coming to the conclusion that some of these car-parking companies should be prosecuted for demanding money with menaces.
Please believe me when I tell that there is a very long list of statutes and regulations that these companies break every day. It is the way their business works.
If they operated within the law their business would disappear overnight. That alone is enough to show that this industry needs to be stamped out. Regulation of unlawful and illegal practices is NOT viable, they must be stamped out.
Some offenses are quite serious with up to 7 years in jail upon conviction, others less so but still offenses.
