PCN with Euro Car Parks

Hi there
I have been issued with a PCN for "my vehicle being parked longer than the maximum period allowed"
It says this will be passed to a debt collector and further charges will apply.
I feel there are 2 grounds for my appeal
1. The charge is excessive and not proportionate
2. There isnt a parking attendent there every day all the time, . I have parked there since and there has been no attendent there so it seems unfair to me .
Any advice please
Thanks

If you've read all about it, why are you getting so cross, and why are you asking if you should now write to them?
Put the letter in a drawer, and continue to ignore.0 -
I guess I am just scared they will send morons to my house or take me to court0
-
Neither of which is as likely as you winning the lottery.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Should I not respond then ?0

NO, again NO.
Ignore all begging letters, all the scary coloured pseudo legal ones and file them away. If you contact them you'll just get more toilet paper.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
You might wish to edit the fourth paragraph in your opening post too, never state publicly on a forum whether you were or weren't the driver, you just never know who might be watching, and it can mean loss of the first line of defence should a case ever make it to court.

Perky will be onto you like a rash. Then do a bit of trolling.I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.

Who is Perky ?0
-
Perky is the nickname of an owner of a private parking company who trawls the forums here, CAG and Pepipoo so he can find those who identifiy themselves online and possibly make it a sure thing to sue them. Thats why everyone is advised never to reveal on any forum just who was driving when an incident occurs.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
