Were was I up to....oh woke up again at 3 yesterday ....thought I've got to do something...get a wash on ...go out for some fresh air and get a few bits in....well THAT WAS THE PLAN:rolleyes:

Walking down stairs with pile of washing in hands......didn't notice top fall on stairs...stepped on it....slipped...went flying into the air........and crashed back down onto the stairs with a hefty bump...(I'm not a slight girl:rolleyes: )

Wacked my head....all of my back ...and particularly my coccyx..OUCH!!..and my elbow....why does a bloody graze hurt sooooooooo much:mad:

Well eventually I stopped blubbing like a baby......ok it took at least 45 minutes .... IT WAS THE SHOCK!!!

Well that was yesterday ....of cause today all the aches and pains have come out worse...and now I have the chesty/dry annoying cough....which makes everything hurt soo much more...

I know others are far worse off........I can laugh at my reaction yesterday now.....kind of like when you get a toddler and there is NO consoling them....I'm nearly 33 FGS!!:o :rolleyes:

Ooh I found out yesterday,, that my ickle nephew (who made me a great aunty last year.....) may very well be making me a great aunty again...lol...can't quite decide when to strangle or congratulate him:D

!!!!!! off you! I'm pooh at knitting....actually no..if I get back into it I'm pretty bloody good:o ...knit one pearl one and all that:o I did the whole knitting little vests for the kids during live aid you know!!...mine where bloody nice as well!....no wonder I've got welts on my fingers....:rolleyes:

I'll leave the knitting to mother;) She needs something to occupy her now that she is being rashioned to one ciggy an hour:D

With regards to the false teeth thing...don't you get that??? When I get a heavy cold...EVERYTHING aches....my whole jaw/teeth aches...feels like it would feel better if I could take them out:rolleyes: ...especially the wisdom tooth...hasn't finished coming through yet...but dentists are not too keen on touching them are they.............I personally think get it out before a bigger problem occurs..you know ...preventative medicine and all that!!

hi rose, just been reading your post's. you've done the right thing asking for help. i think your right your oh prob will want the voddy back tonight. as the illness of alcoholism works in a way that once an alcoholic puts it in his system then their is some thing called the pheonoman of craving(pyhisical alegery) which once fully developed is pretty much out of the alcoholic's control. i would surgest giving him it back on condition he rings AA. but this is only a solution if he wants to stop. i cant say which of your options is best for you as it is your choice. i would also suggest that you get yourself to an al anon meeting. to chat to people in a similar situation to yuorself.

Day at work, then a 40th birthday party, I'm to old for partys! You can't talk, I can't dance and not being drunk sort of loses something from the night.

Anyway home and I can't just go straight to bed, need a little unwind first, thats the problem with sobriety, you don't pass out

Rose, a couple of good points about al-anon, could be worth a go. I'm not convinced bringing in relations will work your oh may need a stranger to talk to, if that's the way he decides to go. Any idea why he started? Is it now just habit, is the reason he started still there? Fair points about your daughter abd stress, it could be right, if your happy she could be. DD is always happy if Mrs Mac is happy

Doesn't look as if I'll be called back in tonight, wouldn't mind If they keep wanting to throw cash at me, who am I to argue. Had a chat at work with someone who felt guilty about being in and not having work to do. Just pointed out that there were more managers than techies and if things went wrong, we would be the ones sorting it out Only 100 customers involved today, 100k next month, then we start doing a million at a time, think I could be in work for a week at a time then I could end up paying for my own nurse
