    Thank you :)
I know I shouldn't need the outside confirmation, but I've got two voices in my head - one telling me not to, and the other saying that it would be nice, it'd be alright and all that. And its sooooo convincing.

  • I'm taking loferpramine at the moment, it isn't making me worse which I'm pleased about :) Oooh the evil paroxetine, did it try to kill you too? lol

He he...I know different drugs work for different people..or not at all in some cases...but going from experience ...DO NOT TAKE SEROXAT..ok:D

Personally, I found they didn't help...quite frankly made me more neurotic than I already was...but I know a number of people from a site I was visiting at the time who it did help...so it's swings and roundabouts I suppose..

I started on them in the June/July 2001 (oddly enough...around the same time mother tried to kill herself.....mmmmm).....by October/November.. thought...these are a pile of **** and are not working so I will wean myself off them....POSSIBLY..not the brightest idea I have had....OMG! I became a bloody nightmare! It was like all (and I haven't got that many....they just got exagerated:p ) neurosis came to light:eek:

So weaning myself off didn't work.........ODDLY enough..agreeing to have mother fro Christmas Day/Boxing Day...and all the stress that entails...got me off them for good.......I was sooooooo stressed dealing with all that crap...that I completely forgot that I was supposed to be taking them.....and by the time I remembered..........I figured I would do without them:rolleyes:

    Well done Jayne :)
Hard time is passed, remembered why I am doing this, and I'm not going to give in :)
I admit it, I'm a woman, and I had a good cry and now I feel lots better :)

  • its annoying i hate being so emotional i am up one minute and really low the next. I have tried to think why. I think it coz every stress worrying situation i have i cope by drinking. I never allow myself to feel any emotion i just numb it with drink and finally i dont think. Trouble was the emotions were obviously still there coz towards the end i was crying and i couldnt remember why.:) Now i am feeling the emotion and having to deal with it there and then and not rely on booze and thats why i think i am finding it so difficult im just not used to it yet.:) does that make sense or am i just strange.... dont answer that ......:)
