  • Hi there

I used to post a little, but not for a long time. Still catch up on how you are all doing though. Glad you are posting again Beer.

Personally, I am still battling my demons and failing often, but I still keep trying.

You are all an inspiration so really well done to everyone who is in a much better place now than they were at the start of their journey. I also believe it really doesn't matter how you get there - just so long as you get there. xx

Keep trying Quickbrew, you know you need to get there soon, did you watch the program on BBC2 last week?
Nice to hear from you again.

Morning all.I got to bed at 2:30, after getting home from work and back to work by 8! I'm tired and a little irritable ;) And for a brief second on the way home thought about visiting 24 hour Tesco. But only briefly :)
  • Morning Al Mac :)
I'm pleased it was only a brief thought - they can be quite unsettling, well done on getting through it :)

Morning, I've had a look at ruths site and there is some interesting stuff on the forum. Al Mac, if you haven't already, you might like a look at the "leaving AA" bit.

I hope everyone around today, is well. If you don't want to post here under your own name, get a new one just for posting on here.

If you've posted before, post again, we don't care what you have done, we want to hear where you or your partner is today.

We try not to judge, but, most of us on here will tell you the real deal, no fancy words. If you're killing yourself, we will tell you that.

    Huggipoos to everyone :D
Hope you are OK ac, haven't seen you around and Mich if you are reading this now might be a good time to post again.

I had a terrible night, DD was awake half the night crying, upset because christmas isn't here yet, unfortunately I also was having a bad night and suffering from a bad temper, I had to work hard at being normal. Feel alot better this morning, yet another hangover free morning :)

Very nice post, where's the really beer?:D
Well done on getting through yesterday, good luck for today :)

Thankyou and well done to you as well.

Very well done Al, I know exactly how hard that is after a hard day at work, then coming home very late.

That was my Ghostwriter feelie, damn didn't think you'd be able to see through it that easily, it was to give myself more time in bed :p

Where can I get me one of them? I spend far too much time on here, I could do with a Ghostwriter to give me some time off!
Busy day today? And frozen chickens?
    Hows smoking?
Day 6, yay :) Its going past rather quickly. And I told OH that I'm not going to the pub tonight :)

Smoking is good for me atm, its going well considering I gave in on Monday morning....

Good idea not going to the pub, no point throwing yourself in the deep end if you don't have to. Sounds like you're doing OK ;)

  • Hmmm, I'd never be allowed back in if you did that!
I think my approach fits in better there - your tough love can be tough!
Well done on the smoking - I'm very glad you got back on track :)
    I'm doing ok I think
