i think we are all a lot older than fg. That is not to patronise you fg at all but life experiences count for a lot and looking at fg`s previous posts she has certainly experienced the unsavoury side of life. I have been there and know that. She is in an abusive relationship which is not helping her at all, however to walk away is hard. i dunno but as you seem to get older you feel yourself sighing and saying done that please dont....... but its hard when you feel vunerable and desperately unhappy. You remind me of an animal cornered fg, frightend ... i dont know what to say to you only the world is a lovely place try and see it. You are on this site all day hun thats not good for you, dwelling will not help. You need to be out meeting people if you cant work do something voluntary. Its hard when you feel so negative and sad but the 1st person to help is yourself and you need to do that for you hun your worth it!!!!!!:)0

hi al ohhhhhhh temper is terrible snapped twice at work today i never snap at work (do at home):) feel crap, go to bed and my head is buzzing, have had a headache for 3 days now , just never goes. Feel tired, befuddled, woozy and dry lips for some reason, and my eyeballs hurt. But this is the 1st time in four years i have done 4 days without a drink. O/h is fine but perhaps he hasnt got a problem ! He is eating copius amounts of chocolate though. Sorry to moan just feel generally unwell Craving was worse yesterday than today, however when everyone at work was on about wine for xmas: I heard that beautiful pop of the cork, Wine swirling around the glass, and then the smell and that first lovely sip, mmmm craving back:) How did you and do you manage al and what was it like for you when you gave up ,the effects on you ,both mentally and psychologically, i sometimes have these dreadful moments of impending doom!!! concerntrating is really hard. Do not think i could move at 5am and go for a walk tho...... by the way al happy what is that!!!

Yeah, sorry about earlier guys.
I am frightened, not by this, I can deal with this, but by all the other things going on that I am struggling to cope with.
I think I'm heading towards another nervous breakdown, whoop-de-doo.
I'll try and limit my posting till I'm better, but seeing as you guys are all I have at the moment, it's hard (never isolate yourself to please others guys, it ain't worth it.)

Oh yes, you need to keep your liquid intake up, your skin is going to go to pot, you will have some strange dreams, sleep may take weeks to return to normal.
You will probably feel worse than you did before, but it does get better and you do get happier, I did and it has been commented on. I do still feel miserable quite often, but that's me, not the lack of drink.
Happy is when nothing is annoying you, doesn't happen often0 -
