You might loose weight, or you might take ALs advice and eat lots of chocolate :D

I think I've been supported by my OH about as much as AL has by his OH, like she leaves me alone to get on with it. She wants it, but knows it has to come from me. I've slowly learnt that, you can get all the help you want, but it still has to be you.

I was talking with a friend the other day, we were both saying we took omega 3, me to try to have a brain again, him to help his memory................ we both forgot to take them most of the time :D

Amazing, just turned round and asked the OH whether she would like me to talk more or less about drinking, more apparently, you learn something every day.

jayne, it must be different for everyone. For you its getting better already, your outlook, your resolve, your body has already started to heal itself. You will be fed up, I'm sorry, but it really is difficult, wish I could say otherwise, but its going to be painful. You won't find many honeyed words here, you will sweat, you will be in pain, you will want to kill someone sometime.
Waking up in the morning without a drink head on, will make it all worthwhile, seeing your kids grow older will also.

Starts to get better straight away. When do you notice it getting better. Some bits a few days, some a few weeks. Some......

Sorry I cant really say, everyone is different. Give it a week. And eat healthily.

i know someone who is a lady friend who drinks a full bottle every evening , every night of the week and they say they have not a problem, i question her and the reply is i have no problem i get all things done in life and when it is my time this is what i enjoy.
our could i make her see sense? she thinks this does her no damage and thinks its ok for her health

loates123, look at the back of the bottle for the number of units, a bit of an eye opener.

    just looked
    does not say
just says 1.5 litre 7.5% vol

surly if a woman drinks this every night it can not be good, if she has a problem i just want to help her out and try to show her she has a problem, i am ok i dont drink only on saturday nights sometimes.
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.:D
