As long as no-one minds, I might post again a bit.
I've had a bad week, got given a sh*t load of beer for my birthday by a well meaning relative and promtly got !!!!!! 3 nights on the trot and drank it all, not particularly proud of that, especially as I had to go into work twice.
I must get back to as I was before again and stop this right here.

Soooooooo I'm back for the continuing support from others and to give my support to anyone who wants it.

Works been a bit crazy and I'm rushed off my feet, so I won't be here alot.

Mich, don't beat yourself up, what you have done has been amazing. I am astounded by the amount of days you are all doing.

havent posted for awhile and most probably not

im finally faceing my subject of avoidance !!!!

i managed to get to a meeting this pm &
spoke about my fears...relating to my holiday....

the thing thats been eating away at me is that i no i will
be surrounded by everyone drinkin & thought for a moment
that i would surcomb to my illness......

i now no ive been paying too much attention to this thought....
in reality..... theres no difference between being over there and
being here.......

i can just as much go out and buy alcohol 24/7 here.....
(that penny dropped yesterday) :rolleyes:

theres just one thing stoppin me..........

ive been toying with the idea to 'treat' myself
to a glass of wine with my meals while im away......
trouble is.......
the leval of guilt, remorse, sadness, etc...... i would feel...

well if im going to feel them for one glass of wine i
might as well go the whole hog and get bladderd...

i am an alcoholic... this is the way i think.....

ac, have a great holiday, I'm off your second week, what will the North West do without us Be yourself:D You seem to be of the same opinion as me, one glass is just the top of the slippery slope. Might not be, but why take the risk:cool: If you do, please don't beat yourself up about it, try the OH;)

Although I can obviously see how upset you are regarding your horrible week & I'm really sorry about that Beer, I can honestly say that I'm really glad that you've rejoined the thread again, as I for one have really bloody missed you!!!!
