Sunnygirl-Hope the Dreaded Piggy virus is kind to you and the symptoms are not too severe. My daughter has asthma and we were told by the consultant that sometimes the side effects of the Tamiflu can be worse than the actual flu:eek:
Happy Birthday Snowy:bdaycake:I hope you do something outrageous to celebrate your birthday as dont you know its the law for all us ladies to misbehave something awful on our birthdays as the best birthdays are always remembered for the things we got up to that are out of the ordinary rather than the mundane one:rotfl:
Churchmouse-Dearie me you are coming in for some ribbing from your so called friends today arent you? Its amusing the heck out of me:D:Dbut remember revenge is sweet:rotfl:?

We were told that about tamiflu too. Niece who's a nurse/midwife refused it, said she'd rather take her chances...........touch wood she's doing OK.
Glad you've noticed  Oh I'll have my revenge, do not doubt:D It's also a dish best served cold;) In the meantime I'll remember my dear old mum's standard " Churchmouse, while they're having a go at you, they're leaving someone else alone" Yeah right mum, that makes me feel a whole lot better :rotfl::rotfl:

Just found out that someone who was spuriously witholding payment for work OH did has coughed up due to my persistence . :j I feel a new handbag coming on as I've had some early birthday money too.
Still haven't got further than putting the ironing board up. The girls requested sausage, beans and egg for brunch so I had to have some too and now there are dishes to do. Seriously tempted to sod the ironing and go for a walk in the rain. The hot chocolate shop is calling me. :cool:0 -

Just back from Sheffield with DS...the visit never lasts long...we come home once it gets busy as DS tends to run off when stressed and thats a nightmare when it is busy.
He has bought 2 mog the cat books, a pig toy from Timmy Time, a dinasaur and a game....I got nothing:cool:
Just about to make his lunch and see if OH is up to eating/drinking yet.
Think I will make sausage and onions with mash and veg (not broccoli;)) for tea.
Am hoping DS will watch an episode of Primeval soon so I can have 45 mins quiet:rotfl:0 -
DH just got back from trying to shop at our nearest Netto. The power is out all round there, and it's very near where ivyleaf lives. All the shops are having a dreadful time, the traffic lights are out, phonelines not working etc. Someone said it's because of vandalism to an electricity station, but I don't know if that's true
DH said the stench of rotting food being loaded onto lorries in Netto's carpark was revolting_pale__pale_ I've texted her and had a reply. The power has been iffy for three days, 3 hours on then 6 hours off :eek: Anyway, she is coping, luckily they cook with gas. The situation has been even worse further out, but they've now brought in generators for those areas she tells me. She asked me to send her love to everyone, and I'm sure we will all keep our fingers crossed that they sort it out very soon.

Afternoon all,
Well i dont feel at all well today, So just what i needed was a letter of the DWP about my ESA claim:mad: It wa the results of my medical Telling me that im nolonger able to claim ESA as im fit for work. Now thay have not asked for a report off my consuant or my GP so just how do thay know anything? My GP has writen me a sick note only 4weeks ago to cover me for the next 3 months because somepoint in the next 3 months thay should be starting some treatment. I had a GP apoimnet yesterday and the GP who i saw (not my usely one) said that i was getting worse
So that has now made me fell just great.
Anyway i phoned up the DWP straight away and had a go at the women on the other end who said that my next step claim should be JSA:mad: Just who i might add is going to give a brain tumor pashit a job
Now to be on JSA you need to be able to do a job and you need to be loking for a job. So if thay take me into hospital just how can i look for a job? or sing on so i can get my money?
Anyway I said that there was no way that at the moment i could work and that i was not going to make myself any iller trying to hold a job down.
So iv put in aperl agenst the decision.
So ill see how i get on with.
I tell ya you really aree better off dead in bloddy country:mad: You try and work and pay your tax and NI and when you need the help of the state tahy dont wont to know you:eek:
Rant over:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
Hi everyone long time lurker here, I usuallly take a look at lunchtime.
redruby - do you have a PDSA hospital nearby? They helped my Aunt with her dog and got treatment at a reduced price.
NPM- I had this problem with slugs but convinced myself that a good soak in salted water zapped the little blighters.
halight - could your usual GP maybe write a letter to DWP?
J X0 -
There must be someone who can help you Halight
