    Morning Everyone
:bdaycake: Snowy have a great day
Hope to get this damp washing outside and dry today, according to the forecasts we should be dry at least, and with a little luck some sunshine too.

When to GNephew2's yesterday for his birthday, only slightly manic so not bad, maybe the couple of glasses of wine helped. Nephewinlaw had been laid off for 4 weeks, and is hoping some work is available on Monday, has heard it may be. Life is not good for many atm.

Welcome Webitha we are usually gentle on here.

NPM hope you get a break, they realise the teachers need one, but not Mum's!!

OSwise, apart from the washing nothing much, as it was tea time when we returned, and had forgot to have a look in the freezer Fish &Chips were our treat, our local does a Medium Fish,Chips + Peas on a tray for £3, and if I then just get an extra fish, we find that half a portion of chips are more than sufficient for us 2, so not too bad. Will get my butt in gear later promise.

    Take care - DG

sunny girl i would ring the docs and describe your symptoms sounds like you have the lurg, and leave the cleaning let someone else take over or you will feel worse for longer. hope you aren't feeling rough for too long

welcome to you Webitha i hope the belt tightening isnt too painful, and as has already been said there is no such thing as a stupid question you dont learn if you dont ask;)

Webitha - welcome. No such thing as a stupid question on OS so feel free to ask way :T

Sunnygirl - poor you. Does sound like swine flu so take it easy and drink lots of fluids. Hope you manage to get some rest xx

NPM - I felt the same about my cauli with the slug perched on top. Can I wash it in bleach do you think ;)

Going a bit darker here - me thinks I will be saved from watering again today. Not sure if that's a blessing or a curse........

Thanks. I rang as soon as 8.30 came around :D They said its highly probable that I have swine flu and have left a prescription of Tamiflu for DH to collect. I've to stay away from vunerable people (my parents) for 7 days. I am going to leave them all to it :p as I don't want to be ill for any longer than is necessary!

Redruby - the op for your dog isn't anal glands is it? If so, thoughts are changing re whether it actually helps- maybe get a 2nd opinion. If not anal glands, please ignore me

Hi everyone and Happy Birthday to Snowy! Have a great day.

SunnyGirl - good that you phoned the docs and have a prescription to collect. Better safe than sorry.

There's very little swine flu here in France, but everyone is amazed at how much of it there is in the UK. Don't know why because the countries aren't that far apart, are they?

Mrs Moneypenny - glad you had a good evening. The bouquets sound wonderful - there's nothing like getting flowers for a special occasion, is there?

RedRuby - I really hope your little dog doesn't need the op but, as you say, you'll find the money somehow.

Donny-Gal - if you come on here, welcome back! I've just seen your post on the Living Abroad thread!

It's lovely and sunny here today, so I've already got two loads on the line and another to follow, all sheets and towels. It dries really quickly here, too; in fact, too quickly - you daren't leave it out all day.

Dinner tonight is beef curry and rice, and fresh fruit salad for pudding. I've already cooked the rice in the Remoska, prepped the meat and veg, and made the salad, so it will be easy to do the meal later.

I've done some damp-dusting and need to sweep and wash the kitchen floor, but I decided to stop and have a coffee.

I've been looking at the weather forecast for the UK. It's awful in lots of areas now but they have promised a better weekend, and much better weather in the next few weeks. I can't feel that good about the fine weather here because I hate the thought of my family enduring all the rain.

Well, I'd better go and wash the floor, then get on with some work.

    See you all later.

    Good morning everyone :D

Not much OS to report, but had to come on to say

Happy Birthday SnowyOwl !!:j :bdaycake::beer: Hope you have a lovely day. It would be great to hear from you, and how are the puddycats? :D

SunnyGirl, don't be surprised if you don't get prescribed any actual treatment. DS wasn't, but if he'd not been able to cope just on analgesics they were going to reassess. Hope you feel better soon.

Going to try and do some gardening this morning, it looks like another lovely day out there. First load of washing to get out on the line, and another lot can go in,

Welcome to webitha, nice to see you, but sorry for the reason why. Hope DH gets another job soon.

    Have good days, CM x

edited to add, I got interrupted while typing. Hope the tamiflu speeds up your recovery Sunny Girl.

re-edited. That's better, Aussie your comment doesn't work now :rotfl::p:rotfl:

Just because Snowy is a year older doesn't mean that her eyesight is failing. We can read smaller print you know. :D
