Just a quick note to say its a good idea to look at prices on Ebay for new stock before entering this deal as sometimes it may not be worth the higher price for the points. i.e. Sony Ericsson W302 is £53.99 on Tesco, but only £35 delivered on Ebay. Granted you get 2,000 points which equal £80 in deals, but this is effectively only £25 profit (in deals remember) for initial cash outlay. OK if you need to collect deals anyway, but just think about the logistics before buying.

Yes but then you could sell the phone on ebay :)

I opted for the Nokia 7100 as although this was £4 more than the cheapest one it seems to be selling for higher than the other phones on ebay. I bough two on separate Tesco.com accounts and will sell both!
  • I was going to buy the Nokia 6303 (£102) anyway, so with Bonus Points and normal Double Clubcard points I get 2204 points (£88 in rewards to go towards 2011 holiday if offers still going :-) ). Meaning the phone I was going to buy anyway has just cost me £14 compared to a conservative £80 elsewhere.
I reckon bargain but i'm sure someone will find a way of proving me wrong :-)

  • I've just received an email from Tesco informing me that the price of the DVD I pre-ordered for £13.98 (with bonus 500 Clubcard points) has fallen to £8, and they are going to refund me the difference! So, depending on how you look at it, I've either got a brand new DVD for £3, or in Clubcards deals, free with a bonus of £17!! :T

Wish I'd ordered more now! :rotfl:

  • I've tried to use the mobile phone code but it says 'Sorry, you have already used this eCoupon the maximum number of times and we are unable to add it to your basket'. Is this not a code that everyone can use then?? I've tried to use it on the Nokia 6303.

I got the same message when ordering the Vodafone Samsung J700 Graphite/Black.

    Lame! :)
  • I have just tried to order the T-Mobile Samsung Stratus C3050 and the code provided is only giving free delivery (not 2000 bonus points).
  • Tesco Clubcard boost - various PAYG mobile phones. The code does not work as I have just spoken with Tesco customer support and they state that they will only honour vouchers which have been sent out to customers.

The code is has been used illegally!
  • The code worked for me and added 2000 points to my order - does this mean I won't get the points after all?

    Thanks
  • I was about to post to say thanks to MSE for this because we got a nice little phone for our son and got the points added straight away. Hope they don't take them away subsequently. The code came via MSE, so should be ok, shouldn't it?

MSE - can you follow this up with Tescos and check the position please?
Big thanks to Martin Lewis for helping us start to sort out our finances!!!:A

    Best Comp win:X-Box 360!!

And thank you to all posters! You're wonderful!
  • Well, this is what I thought, that the code was posted on MSE so was OK to use. So maybe not, I personally do not think MSE should have highlighted it and stuck it on their linked pages if it was not a code everyone could use. Did they not think to check first I wonder!
