as far as i know there is no way of finding if your points have/will be added.you will have to wait till february and if not added then "WHO KNOWS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO".

Thanks Rosy. I've now managed to bag the two items I didn't get around to buying before the promotion ended on Sunday, and one of them was a quid cheaper too, so a good all round win. That'll be £40 towards an Open University course methinks. :money:

The terms and conditions are now clearly stated on the site. You will only get 1500 points for the above order as you only get 500 points per unique title.

*500 Extra Clubcard points promotion runs from Wednesday 18th November to Sunday 22nd November inclusive. 500 extra Clubcard points (Extra Points) will not be shown in the online basket at the checkout. They will be awarded in the February Clubcard Statement. Extra Points will be awarded for each unique title purchased from the promotional title range. Multiple purchases of the same title will not be eligible for Extra Points. Extra Points will not be awarded for orders cancelled by you or where you return promotional titles. This does not affect your statutory rights. The Extra points promotion is for personal use only and Tesco Entertainment reserve the right to withdraw or amend this promotion where we reasonably suspect abuse of this promotion.

Had a look at the site this morning and noticed that some of the titles are also available as downloads - even cheaper than the CD prices - but not sure if the bonus points apply to downloads? Can't see anything in the statement of terms that says it doesn't.

Just received a reply from tesco even though it took them a week.
Hopefully this email may answer some questions about the extra points on pre-orders.
I am keeping this email as i order 11 items so should get 5500 points in total.

Please accept my apologies for the delay in response to your email. We are currently receiving a high volume on contacts and are working to answer these as quickly as possible.



In regards to the 500 clubcard points promotion. Any orders that have been placed before 11/11 will have 500 Clubcard points added for each selected pre-order. The maximum per customer is 10 items. So if you have ordered more than ten selected pre-order items you will only get the points for the first 10. Our Terms & Conditions were updated on 11/11 to advise that 500 Clubcard points would only be added for each unique title. However, as these were not added to the website until this date it has been agreed that customers will receive their points if placed before this date.

Julie - it seems as though you will only get 5,000 points (500 x 10) and not 5,500 points (500 x 11) as the terms state in that email: "The maximum per customer is 10 items".

That's not true. The terms went from non-existent to refering to maximum 6 of each title and were explicit that there'd be no points beyond 6 of any one title.

The word unique only arrived today, or yesterday, as did the 10 limit.

They're really bungling this offer.

I stand corrected. The terms went from nothing to "unique titles only" to "6 of each". What a muddle!
