When I ordered on Saturday, the T&C on that page definitely said that it was a max 6 per item and I was quite clear after reading them that I could buy (for example) 6x Take That and get 3,000 points for it. As it happens I got 2x Michael McIntyre and 2x Take That, the other 6 items I got were 1x.
How am I going to claim lost points from them next February when it seems like they've changed the T&Cs every day since. I won't have a leg to stand on.
I just know I'm going to be 1,000 points less than I should come February.

I suppose once Tesco relised what a "muck up" they had made, they then set out with a plot to try & confuse everyone else so that then we would all have trouble proving how many points we were infact elegable to, why could they not just confirm the amount when they accept our money & order? I for one ,are getting fed up with their "empty" promises, for example when the first "instant access" savings offer came out, I [stupidly] perswaded the rest of my family all to invest £1000.00 each in order to get 1000 points each, that was in august, we have to date still only received 500 each , despite several phone calls & a letter, which they haven't even replied to yet [2 weeks ago] !!! Why do we bother ?0

I though the instant access points were 500 for £1000, 1000pts for £3000 and 3000 points for 10 or 50k being invested."Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
That's not true. The terms went from non-existent to refering to maximum 6 of each title and were explicit that there'd be no points beyond 6 of any one title.
The word unique only arrived today, or yesterday, as did the 10 limit.
They're really bungling this offer.
Agree - they can't enforce the limit of 10 unique items for orders placed before 11/11, since neither that limitation nor the "6 of each title" limitation were published anywhere before that date. They can't retrospectively apply Ts and Cs on a whim, where you could not have reasonably found out about that the time of placing the order, without seeking your agreement for the change before shipping. Seeking your agreement would have meant bringing the change in the terms to your attention personally and giving you a chance to back out at no cost to you before they took your money and shipped.
The most that they can do is try to rely on some rather vague Ts & Cs that geenrally apply to the clubcard that say that as a member you are acting as consumer and that they can withold points where they suspect abuse. And those are so non-specific that in my opinion they would struggle to enforce them except in cases of really flagrant abuse (hundreds of copies of each title anyone?)
I would expect that they might still try it on by withholding points from some orders before 11/11 to see who kicks up a fuss, so keep track and kick merry hell if they don't award them in February.0 -
For anyone still watching this topic, this may be of interest. I wrote to tesco entertainment seeking reassurance re my points. Reply arrived after a week or so, agreeing I'd get all points. For info, my orders complied with the small print at the time of ordering (my 1st 3 orders were under each of the 3 versions of the small print) and also comply (when all added together) with the "6 of any one title" rule. I have 28 items in total. Here's the reply, below. I've removed order numbers and names. Happy thanksgiving!

Just read this on Yahoo News:
LONDON (Reuters) - Tesco Plc, Britain's biggest retailer, has brought forward 67 million pounds of customer loyalty rewards as store groups battle for custom in the run-up to the key Christmas trading period.
The supermarket group said on Monday it was sending out the vouchers ahead of the normal quarterly release in February.
"This seasonal surprise is to help customers at a time when we know they will appreciate it most," Commercial Director Richard Brasher told Reuters.0 -

Does that mean they won't actually send out the Feb statement? That's annoying because I was collecting for the Airmiles offer0
