So, had QE, NR nationalisation and BoE rates at record lows not happened then
It's ok, I accept your explanation.
It surely was a bit early to be drunk on a Thursday but as always, I agree you are off your rocker
P.s. How much was the wager?
Yer, off me rocker then.
However, least I only changed to 45-55%(and yes, I do stand by that, and no, I don;t think 70% is completely impossible).
Must say though, though I know you will never believe it, that wasn't a prediciton, was a wager
I guess, we'll see!
Edit:
Actually, the only prediciton I have seen the bulls make, is from Stevie, at 20% down from peak. I don't think I have ever seen any other bulls make predictons, only laugh at others.
Anyone care to predict?0 -

Ok, Would you wager that Man Utd will retain the Prem Leage but predict Chelsea
I thought you put a wager on what you believe will happen.
Maybe your still off your rockerGraham_Devon wrote: »Actually, the only prediciton I have seen the bulls make, is from Stevie, at 20% down from peak. I don't think I have ever seen any other bulls make predictons, only laugh at others.

I stated over a year ago that UK average house prices were 22% overvalued and that that was what house prices needed to correct by.

I also said that historically prices overshot the long term trend and that it was possible and likely to happen again.
To be fair I think at the start of this all, I did say something like 15%, so 2 years down the line, I'm not that far out so far am I
That said, with greater media awareness, QE impact, bank stimulus, low interest rates, its unclear if the overshoot may be stemmed.
Time will tell
P.s I hold my hand up, I do have a giggle at the 70% club, it still makes me laugh
:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

So can I laugh at you equally then, considering you said 15% and we have passed that already0

No we have not, FT index -15% from peak (check my sig)'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. The index which still puts house prices at an affordable 200k.
That's the oneI think we decided that they were the only ones that included all house price data.

Well you use that. No one else is, be that the media, government, or anyone half sensible on these forums.
We all know the LR is the one to use, though I understand it's hovering around your prediction, and past ISTL's.
This is why I can't really see why it's so hilarious to be going around mocking everyone elses predictions, when so far, they are not wrong, and you and ISTL, are.0 -
