Nice sig.........
I think I will change it soon, it is not really fair, I only included it in response to him including my guess in his sig, he dropped it though as mine was looking more accurate than his'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

No, you know thats not why I dropped it.
I stated it was childish and you were saying it wasn't the index you measured it on, so I got rid about 3 months ago.
At least mine took what you said and didn't take a single snippet to suggest something else, completely ignoring the rest of the sentence0 -

Are you saying you didn't predict 50-70% and then change it to 45-55%also I think you have changed it again since.

I've not seen his latest prediction.
He did back up another poster who predicted 30-40%
I commented there was a trend showing
50-70%, then
40-45%, then
30-40%, then.........
XX-XX%
he's bound to be right with one of them sometime:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

I wonder if the housing market dropped 70% he would claim he was correct all along'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. If I could describe you in one word Graham, I'd say "plucky".0

No I did both of those things.
But I changed when A) NR got nationlised,Quantative easing was on the cards C) Interest rates broke reocrds.
None of which could have been predicted.
However, your sig is made to look like something else. Like I said, if thats what you feel you need to do, you feel free, but don't just make rubbish up. My quote quoted all your words without cutting bits out. Your sig cuts parts of my posts out.
Still, keeps chucky and ISTL happy, I mean, who cares about whats actually said!0 -
i remember laughing when the nutters where saying 50%-70% drops.
t'was very funny and desperate. it's even funnier some actually think they will still happen...
just shows how often these people change their mind to suit. they don't understand the bigger picture but like to pretend that they know what they talk about on this forum...
it didn't make me happy though - other more important things in my life make me happy...0 -

It's not changing minds to suit. The whole economy changed beyond all recognition to something NO ONE predicted.
Any serious predicitons have to change as the economy changes beyond what anyone could forsee. Surely thats pretty obvious. If I was still talking of 50-70% (which I TALKED about once, NEVER predicted, if I did, please show me, I have only ever said, as far as I'm aware, it was possible, before everything changed) you would be laughing. So when the predictions change to follow the economy, you try and say I am changing my mind to suit.
In other words, there is absolutely no way I can give a prediciton without you trying to bring it down through these kinds of posts.0 -

Just admit it Graham - your prediction was wrong.0
