Then of course there is the dreaded xmas coming down the track too and I really want to see the back of dear old barclaycard this year, so Im hoping to manage it all but deep down know that it may be the new year before the card is gone! Right Im off for a walk and then will catch up with everyone on here.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Poor you! Toothache is *so* debilitating .... and teenagers can be too
My advice: scream into a cushion! You'd be surprised at how good a cushion is for soundproofing2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Will try the cushion option KC :rotfl:but I'll make sure everyone bar the dog is out when I do so, otherwise they will defo think Ive lost the plot!!
Had to pay out €300 for our porky pig which will be all ready cut up and ready for the freezer by the end of the week. I know it seems a lot but it really is loads of meat and so yummy as its all organic still it means this month is tighter than ever with the wedding still looming. Never mind dear old barclaycard may be with me a bit longer than I'd hoped for. DH was so impressed when I told him the balance is now below £500 :T I suppose it really is a step in the right direction and should really be patting myself on the back, but as usual feel I could do more to shift it.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Wow - it does seem a lot, tbh - how much would that be per portion, do you reckon? I've no idea, being veggie all these years
You're definitely on the way tho - just keep going, and make sure you have the odd treat in there - thats where I fall down, thats part of the reason I get sick so often.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Not sure portion wise. We get tons of chops, loads of sausages and joints and butcher puts back some bacon (or rashers as they say here) and a couple of hams, so its loads of meat and will keep us all going until the spring at least, so I suppose its not so bad when you think how much you pay for a good joint of pork at a good butchers.
Have been up since silly oclock and have the cold from hell, yet again, dont know whats going on as I havent suffered much the past couple of years, perhaps theyve all come together, anyway have sandwiches made, d/w on and w/m so will get kids off to school and slither back into bed, its very frosty here this morning and very cold, winter is definitely here now. brrrrVisa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Sounds well worth it - but sorry to hear you're suffering with another cold - I'm struggling too, it just drags on and on ..... I'm already wishing winter was over, and it isn't really winter here yet!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
