Cheers another cuppa here now and some toast and marmalade with the lovely new bread, yum.:) Tracking was ok when the last tyre went on, its all these b****y potholes that cause the trouble the are the bain of life here especially after all the ice last winter. Still the main road is finally due to be resurfaced so hopefully that will be the end of the really bad ones.

Toast and marmalade! If gluten free flour makes good bread in a breadmaker, I'll have to buy a toaster as well - lovely stuff.

Okay, I understand about the tracking now - and I'm glad there's going to be resurfacing, and that the cuts haven't (sofar, whistles in the wind) stopped it happening.

Well have been cleaning mad here and got rid of loads of carp from DS2's bedroom then he said where is this and that he never wants to get rid of anything so I must venture back in there today while he is at school and do a bit more. Cleaned loads yesterday so am having a bit of an easier day today hopefully!! DH is back and back into more signs so he's fairly busy for the next couple of weeks which is good for the finances. He's promised to take me for lunch tomorrow in town so looking forward to that too. Not much else to report off to the polytunnel for a bit of a tidy up today. Hope everyone is ok will catch up now.

Hi KC there's not too much in there now but I did have sweetcorn, tomatoes (still have them) onions beetroot and strawberries, all the yummy stuff. Still have some more tomatoes and strawberries though but most other stuff has been eaten now apart from the onions which are drying in the shed, they were quite a success this year.

Wow! I don't think I can run to a polytunnel (garden here isn't big enough :) ) but I certainly want to get planting some food plants next year. I've got quite a few herbs ready to go, at least. And there was a currant bush here when I moved in. And a hazel tree!
