Uh oh, turfy, that doesn't sound good - but its a good plan to just sit back and let your body heal. Take care of yourself.

That does sound nice - a lit stove, and home made pizza, with lounging afterward. Sigh.... my kitchen is a tip again - well, I need to do the washing up, at least - both my meal-sized saucepans are dirty :o

Morning folks its quite sunny today so Ive put a line of washing out hope it stays dry. Not much planned today, been to church had breakfast, must try and stick to the diet today been very naughty lately. Think I'll not bother with the usual roast as I have loads of spagbol to use up for the kids and then Mr T and I can have salad later so thats healthy.
I really need to start some seeds off for the polytunnel, Im lazy with that this year, I think its down to all the frost weve had this winter. Yes Im going to get that sorted today hopefully.
The hour has messed the rest of the family up as Mr T and DD are still zzzz.

Morning everyone, didnt get to post yesterday as much of the day was taken up with a friends mothers' funeral so back to normal today and had to be up early as the kids are coming just after 8  Probably the only day I'll have them this week as its holiday weekend, so hope the nits are gone!
DD was on a supposed sleepover last night but we found out late that the bf was also invited, so after much annoyance and did she/didnt she know he'd been invited, I let her stay until 11.30 and then went to pick her up, god these teenagers are hard work, think the nappy stage was easier:rotfl: Anyway all ok now and everyone has a clearer understanding of things, the girls all had to phone their parents to clear it and then the parents at the party decided all boys should stay in the house and the girls in the flat (which they also have at their place) Alls well and Im now exhausted with the whole thing.
Hope everyone is enjoying some sunshine its nice here now and Im off to hang some washing out. will pop back later.

Morning had a really busy few days, had the kids on Wednesday should get paid today! Did shopping yesterday, all ok with DD she has called off things with bf for time being they hadnt been getting along anyway so for now they are just mates. No surprises with banking and managed to get to the end of the month ok.
Have been busy on the emails with a missing relative someone is trying to trace, all came about via the family tree stuff so hopefully lots of emails later we may get a good outcome. So interesting.
Off to clean up the kitchen as I was on here till silly oclock last night. Have a good weekend everyone.

How distant is the relative turfy? I was at my sister's on Wednesday, and we were talking about the concept of "first cousin once removed" and whatnot - my lovely young nephew has already sussed it on his own - he's a lovely young man, full of surprises. Hope you're having a good time today - its Easter Friday, y'know!

Hi KC the relation is my grandmothers nephew who is looking for his sister she was adopted by one of the family when her mother died. The lady who Im in touch with is his grand daughter so were hoping we can put them back in touch as he is almost 80 yrs now and his sister is in her early 70's. so fingers crossed and we now have some addresses to go on.
Its amazing isnt it, you hear nothing for ages on the family tree and then one email from a hotmatch on genesreunited and away we go. I have been able to email a pic of the mans grandmother (my gt grandmother) too so hopefully will hear all about it next week.

Fish for tea with new potatoes yumm. Otherwise just having a lazy day, hope youre all doing the same.:T
