I'm glad you had such a nice time - tell what you did on the family tree stuff, what records you looked at, or was it an oral history type thing?
Frosty here too - its only just gone from the car roofs.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi everyone have had a disturbed nights sleep. DS2 has got a nasty cough and so kept us awake most of the night. He's off school today and having a moan at the mo. Mr T is struggling with a new internet modem and its going in and out of signal, but when it is working its really quick, trouble is he's got it attached to the chimney so lots of swearing going on etc etc.
All ok with the finances up to now would like to make another couple of payments to dear old barclaycard this week, so hopefully tomorrow I can do that. Have the kids today so more pennies towards debt freedom.:T
Lovely day here again sun is shining and washing on the line hooray.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Loan 1 €[STRIKE]4885[/STRIKE] now 0. Loan 2 €29,590 now €0 as of 22/02/2016 Mgage €55000/ €23,639 at 01/02/18

Just noticed your sig - its so true. Even in the depths of debtdom, I sometimes look at the quiet, green little street that I live on, and am *very* thankful that I'm here.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning everyone, I cant believe we have yet another beautiful day in the making its glorious. Just paid another £200 of dear old barclaycard, getting there slowly now. Things may get a bit tight towards the end of the month, Im banking on having the kids to mind for 3 days next week so here's hoping (otherwise we'll be eating the furniture:rotfl:).
Off to sort out packed lunches and have another cuppa, back later.
p.s fast internet seems to be working fingers crossed.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Loan 1 €[STRIKE]4885[/STRIKE] now 0. Loan 2 €29,590 now €0 as of 22/02/2016 Mgage €55000/ €23,639 at 01/02/18

Thinking of furniture and genealogy - furniture has a risky past in our family. My great grandmother used to chuck it on the fire to burn in hard times.... when my mum and dad bought a house when I was about 3, we used the packing crates as furniture for a while. They'd kept a table, that my grandad had previously bought them, so they did have that - he bought it at Paddy's Market by Liverpool docks for about half a crown - and its still going, in my living room
I don't know quite how to get rid of it, actually, I'd *really* like to :rotfl:

OMG imagine having to burn furniture, things are not that bad yet!
Misty morning here and it seems to have warmed up, perhaps a change on the way weatherwise. Not much to report except to say we do have fast internet which is just incredible, never thought we'd get that living in the middle of nowhere. Paid more off barclaycard yesterday and have the little ones today. Off to make sandwiches and get a cuppa.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Loan 1 €[STRIKE]4885[/STRIKE] now 0. :hello: fast internet ... working at home.... paying off debt.... mist over the hills (okay, I made the hills bit up!) - it sounds good, turfy. I'm off to London, and hoping to make sure the house is ready to come to and start the weekend, rather than clearing up after the week, so won't be on much today. Hope your day goes well.

Morning folks its a bit cloudy here today but have put the uniforms on the line anyway. Mr T had a very early start he's gone to Monaghan to pick up a range for a neighbour he left around 4 am:eek: dont expect him home until late, in the meantime I have to run DD to the bus for a day out with the bf and DS1 has a footie match away so hopefully someone will give him a spin. Im left with the van so cant go far today. DS2 is feeling a little bit better but is still very quiet which definitely makes a refreshing change IYKWIM;)
Will put a pizza mix in the bm and have a lazy tea, off to light the stove as its feeling a bit chilly now.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Loan 1 €[STRIKE]4885[/STRIKE] now 0. Loan 2 €29,590 now €0 as of 22/02/2016 Mgage €55000/ €23,639 at 01/02/18
