Morning everyone and happy st patricks day to you all. Bank holiday here today so everyone just lazing around, apart from Mr T who is busy working as always no bank holiday when your self employed! Didnt have the kids this week yet but will on friday then a whole 5 days next week :T great news for Mr Barclaycard hopefully a good incentive to get rid in the next couple of months fingers crossed x
Im off to get some seeds planted now its warmed up a bit, very windy here today and showers forecast, so at least I'll be busy. Hope you all have a good day.

So much for all the good intentions of day before yesterday. Things took an unexpected turn, no childminding today or maybe even next week. The dad has sold his van and has to await a course before he can do any more work. so that means he's at home with kids, so barclaycard will have to wait now, and will have to wait a bit longer! Why is it just when you think you have it sorted it all goes t**s up. Anyway Mr T is still stressing about the car and we had a bit of a row about that and his business debt too, so all sorted now and were back on track. I really could have done with the money next week but we'll have to wait and see.
DD has decided (we think) to go ahead with transition year as they call it here, think its just another year to get to study etc without the pressure of exams. Still whatever she decides is ok as her work is good, just means she'll be at school longer, no bad thing me thinks.
We are looking after a friends little one this weekend whilst they are away she's just one yr old so that will be fun, hopefully my lot will help out, they deserve a break and Im a glutton for punishment:rotfl:

Bother on the not getting the work! You must be great with kids, tho, turfy, to do all of that fairly regularly and look after friends kids too.

Thanks for the info Shaun, she is already 16 going on 17 (sound of music cue):rotfl: When we came to live here 8 yrs ago now they kept both my eldest behind by 2 yrs as were in a Gaeltach area so everything in Irish, they are both brill with the language now, its just me and the DH who struggle! she'll be really old leaving school, To think I was working in London when I was just barely 17 and coming home to Wales for weekends. (No wonder my grandad never slept for months with the worry)
Nice to see you back on the boards my woolly friend.:)

Not too bad the babysitting. She was an angel in the sleeping dept and ate almost everything. She had to tag along to the footie match and got taken for a long walk today so she's packed off home now with all her entourage.
Off for a catch up, hope everyone had a good weekend.
