It was £1,900. But to be honest apart from that everything is fine, i have had a mechanic look over it and they have said that i got a good deal for it, the smoking has only just started.0

Perhaps a good idea to let your mechanic give you an opinion on it, it is really very difficult to give an exact answer on a forum.
Good luck.0 -
If it was just using a bit of oil the cheapest solution is to just keep topping it up. I did that for ages on a Vauxhall Senator I had some years ago. The hesitation when cold ought to be looked at though.
Did you buy it from a trader? Might just be worth seeing if they will do anything. Don't hold your breath though.0 -
Thanks, this is why someone said to me its probably the injectors as it has got some hesitation there and also with the smoking, ill guess ill just have to put her into a garage.0

Stick some diesel injector cleaner additive in the tank.0

Yes thanks i'll give it a go, thanks!!0

You need to ascertain what exactly the smoke is. If it's blueish, then it's oil. If its grey, and relatively inoffensive to smell, it's unburnt fuel.
The former is more serious than the latter. Oh, and diesel injector cleaner won't do anything, you'll just be wasting your money. And you don't need to put your foot on the accelerator when starting a modern car.0 -
no i ment when i drive off and put my foot on the accelerator to go whilst im driving along it pulls back0
