Could you trick her into thinking she's in her preferred position? Like you'd do if she had a favourite side?

How old is she? Could it be a growth spurt? Or trapped wind? Not enough sleeping during the day? Too much sleeping during the day? Teething? All of these things (and more!) have caused sensitive Celia to wake more often

    Thanks Fritha.
Baby girl is 5 months in a few days. Not sure about a growth spurt, but it could be teething (as the nappy rash has come back with force), not enough sleep during the day and solids. I am moving her solids around to see what happens.

I have given her a lovely warm bath tonight (normaly bath her de morning as she springs to life after a bath), given her a bit of a dream feed in teh crib when she stirred (a tip from another mse person).

SO far she hasn't fully woken from 9pm, so i am keeping my fingers crossed.
For those of you who are weaning or about to start weaning - did you know that Annabel Karmels recipes are all available on her website

It may just be me but I was quite surprised that you can get the recipes for free...normally you have to buy the books :D

Now for making Benjamin some Butternut Squash and Carrot with half my squash. I don't fancy Butternut Squash and Pear
The other half will be cut into chip shapes and steamed to see if he likes it!!

okay, a bit scarey. i have only bookmarked her webpage in the last few days and have also added her as a friend on FB too.

Just checked my emails and found I have been selected to test organic booties for bizzie baby !!
Oh I am all excited to get them now :):)
Me too! We must of signed up at exactly the same time lol... Did you get the questionnaire for Colonel Giraffey yet? (yours is probably named something different tho lol)

Had a right moment earlier... The sofa men turned up, Aimee got all over excited and was jumping around the lounge screeching, then Caitlyn wanted a feed but of course wouldn't just let me latch her on for 5 mins and get the sofa sorted out... Hubby walked in while she was purple screaming and I was shouting at Aimee for something... Still... All calm now... Aimee's in bed, we have the bed part of the sofa up resting our legs... Caitlyn let me sit and give her a 3min feed earlier (started by latching her standing up... Looks like that might have to be my feeding out of the house position if she doesn't sort herself out soon!) and she's now asleep in the corner of the sofa... Dog tired though... Might take her to bed and see if a dream feed can get me 5-6hours sleep...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Ooh, I've not washed Colonel Giraffey yet... Just mentioned it to hubby and he's horrified it might make him go floppy lol... He loves it more than Caitlyn (he named it!) I didn't think we'd get anything until the questionnaire, it says so in the T&C... Oh well, won't be pointing it out to them...

  • Evening,

Only a quick post as I need to go to bed.

Butternut squash and pear - DD loved when weaning - it's really odd the combos they like.

I had DD at a childminder today as mum is on holiday - she was brilliant, straight in to play. She had a couple introductory visits with mum last week, plus it's someone she knows, she's only been left with family before so I'm quietly proud of myself for making her into the confident 2 year old that she is.

It completely whacked her out though, she only just scraped through her tea and bath, went to bed without a story!

DH as had me turning the house upside down for a late lost library book, I check her book bag and it's in there grrrrrrrrrrr, will have a weeks worth of fines on it.

    Night Night everyone.

    MDW

P.S. Not had chance to catch up as you all talk too much when I'm at work.
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!
3 years 9 months and proud of it
