Carla, Rhys couldn't get on with the TT CTN bottles but then he was really dinky when we tried him on them so it's understandable that they were too big for his mouth - he couldn't get his mouth round and sealed around them so the milk would dribble out the side. He has NUK Orthadontic (sp?) now as that's what the hospital have.

Incidentially, going back to hospital providing formula, ours use SMA Gold and Cow&Gate - the latter being what Rhys had a few times as it was a specific prem one. I think there was only one mum (of twins) FF at the time and she took Aptamil in instead :)

anyone watching underage and pregnant again ... new episode x
I'm watching peeda andre's show  and still finding him attractive at the mo :o
I've only got a couple of picture of me breastfeeding, and they were taken by my Dad! It was the first time Toby latched on, and I was at my Mums. I shouted to her to come and see (she is a breastfeeding counsellor, so it wasn't that weird, just wanted her to tell me if he really was doing it) and she shouted for my Dad to take pictures. That was weird!
the only one I have were taken either at the birth by my mum or random blurry ones by Chris :p

Fritha - Up to what age would you carry a baby about in a sling?
I've seen pics of 5yo in them, Chris has been in mine a few times and likes it (although I'm not a fan of the weight!

    i need some advice...
i have TT CTN bottles. DS doesnt seem to be able to get a proper latch on then, so is constantly dribbling a stream of milk from one side of the teat. and then i have the problem of him gulping down the milk - which gives him loads of wind. and his last feed, he was sick all over me, twice, which was only a 4oz feed, of which he took 3oz.
anybody have any similar problems, and found a solution!?
im not sure whether to change his bottles or not, as he is only 10days old, so possibly still leanring to suck and latch properly?!??

    What teats are on them?
I had a problem with the size one (slowest teats) as ds3 couldn't seem to get enough milk quickly enough and so took in loads of air sucking so hard! I had similar problems with the other two as well (different bottles) I can highly recommend changing the teats to the variable ones they are like little x on the teat......although, thinking while typing, not sure if they are from 3mths??

    Hmm, will check

Nope they are from birth......I used variable flow teats with all my boys they are fab, I takes a few feeds for the baby to realise they can take as little or as much milk as they want (they sometimes chke the first couple of times!) But once they are used to them I never looked back:D:D:D

OK forgotten most of what I wanted to say but hohum:
Elle - his calcium levels are still pretty high so they'll probably keep monitoring him for that for a while... :( At least they're slowly heading in the right direction! Any results from the parathyroid test?
MotM - nothing wrong with single dads :) My dad was a single dad with me for years... poor chap suffered horrendously with a girl to bring up - Like when I insisted on "making dinner" for him consisting of my favourite foods... nutella and salami... (I was 4 before anyone says anything about my lack of cooking skills! :P)
I think if he'd had more girls he might have had a nervous breakdown! :rotfl:
Tia - I found that the Royce ones were the only ones in the right size with the right shape... at least for my knockers :) 34GG/H I think this one is... flipping brain gone on a holiday! LOL

LOL - I had a busy day. We had our first non-group 'playdate' in the afternoon...a lovely time was had by half a dozen mummies and babies and Benjamin was golden all afternoon...even kept his sunhat on :D

Then hubby came to collect us and drove me to SILs and the girlies went into the village for a pub meal and some drinkie-poos...culminating in us singing Russ Abbots 'Atmosphere' at the top of our voices on the karaoke :rotfl::rotfl:

Hubby and Benjamin came home for some 'dad and lad' time ;) Hubby is quite liking being a 'daddy who can' - with his ex he was most definitely a 'daddy who does it wrong' in her opinion. I let him do what he wants and have lots of parenting responisbility :D and then I can go to the pub :rotfl:

Actually, since Benjamin has been born I have been out on my own more often than hubby has
