MOTM - Sounds like a nice day:) We went to a local field blackberry picking, but there weren't many ripe ones so I will pop back next week and see if they are ready yet. At least the dog and the kids had a nice run around:D
All my three are tucked up and sound asleep:D

Not been fruit picking for years. Not sure the girls would enjoy that. I remember mushroom picking when youngerNot much fun
All mine bar the 16 year old are in bed. I did promise when she finished her exams she could stay up as long as she wanted. It's quite nice having company when all the others are in bed. I have missed it, even though I have lost control of the TV :rotfl:0 -
I just wanted to say Hello  and add that I am totally in awe of you. Welcome to the forum and I can already tell lots of us 'newer' parents will have loads of questions - with 7 girls you have had quite a head start on some of us:p:rotfl:
Anyway - hello
 Nice to meet you.
I will try and 'help' if I can. With the mothers being around when they were babies, I shared duties, although I have to be honest, nappy changing was not my thing. Not that I didn't want too, but it literally made me hurlThe only thing to do that is peanut butter :rotfl:
It was about the only thing I didn't do mind, well that and how to apply makeup :rotfl:
I could always use my girls as an encyclopedia I suppose. What I don't know, they can tell me to tell you their experiences0 -

I used them for the boys when they were younger and they were fine. Just as absorbent as pampers.0 -

i'm sure your DD is always darling though
You have fun with your daughter then? :rotfl:
Not always darling, but mostly. Just not when she's talking about her biological or step mother. Or Lilly Allen, she can't stand Lilly Allen :rotfl:0 -
Oh MotM meant to answer you about St John - They do do some care in the community stuff or depending on what exactly she wants to do then she could help run the badger section etc for experience? Bertie Badger
Best bet is asking the local division to see what exactly they're involved in or even red crossIt doesn't have to be blood and gore
Badger section? Is that children? She might enjoy that as she likes playing with her sisters and it will new kids to be around.
Not sure she knows what she wants to do, but she wants to work with people in need as she knows what it's like to be unhappy and she doesn't want people to be unhappy. I do worry about her though, that she may be doing it to escape her own head :rolleyes:0 -
hi ladies,
i have been putting off asking for help, but i need to ....
my baby girl has reverted to having trouble sleeping at night. i had got her to sleep at least 4-5 hours by giving her solids at night and changing her formula (as recommended by the HV). we had good week and she was sleeping better, but we have now returned to where we started.
she is waking at least once an hour after i put her down and then may do a 3 hour stint before waking again and then only going back down for an hour or so at a time until we get up.
she is quite snacky with her feeding but it has slightly improved with the change in formula.
will speak the HV again tomorrow but just wanted some ideas from all on here too.
thanks

Enjoy your coffee Becs, I want a cuppa but I'm feeding and there's no-one around to ask!
Aww if you were closer I would have popped round with one :cool:ManOnTheMoon wrote: »
Isn't Steve Bruce from Newcastle?
Yes - he grew up as a Newcastle fan, and as things are unsettled up the road, I am worried in case he jumps ship if they ask him to go there.Impressive of your two year old. Just hope Sunderland don't sign Papastathopoulos from Genoa :rotfl:
:rotfl:
She keeps asking where's Cisse gone (he was her fave as he kept dying his hair wacky colours) but she hasn't managed to pronouce Panathinaikos yet
How do the girls manage with bed times? My boys are 12 and 10 and the eldest one needs less sleep. The youngest one has lights out at 8.30pm, but the eldest varies between 8.30pm-10pm depending on how he's feeling. The youngest thinks that is totally unfair, but he'd be horrid the next day if I let him stay up till 10pm!Here I go again on my own....0 -
AF jayden does this it ends up he dont want a feed just his dummy to sooth him maybe madam just wants something to chomp on x
