    Morning all,

Not been around much as OH has been off work so I have been spending time out with him while I can!

We went to camelot on Thursday it was lovely - had some nice weather too!

Lexi has been having breakfast each morning this week....she is very impressed although Im not so impressed when she puts her hands in her mouth while said mouth is full of food :rotfl: Also although its v cute mummy does not like Lexi sneezing when mouth is full of food as mummy gets a baby food / drool shower! We have also been trying chunks of carrot, apple (just to suck on) and yoghurts! :D

Its nice to catch up on all you have been upto, is it terrible that I miss reading what you have all been upto?

I got a maya wrap - well I think thats what it is mei tai type sling. Just need to figure out how to use it so I think Monday I will make my way to the sling meet! Hope to see some of you there.

Hugs for those of you who need them and welcome home baby Amber!

    Have a good day xxx

I find that the more they sleep, the more they need to sleep! It might not be as bad as you expect.

Today Benjamin has been mostly eating baby rice and strawberry yoghurt and homemade courgette and green bean mush :D He is loving it!!

I bought a butternut squash in Tesco earlier - I couldn't help thinking that only weaning mothers buy them :D

I am still scared when I look at the packets/jars/tins of baby food though - the amount of crap that is in some of them is shocking

I love BNS and eat it lots. When I still made fancy things every night for dinner (ie pre-baby!) I used to make a wickedly delicious butternut squash risotto. LO seems to love it too.

No toilet locks here after Joshua locked himself in my ex's bathroom when he was little and got himself into a screaming panic, so my ex had to break the door down, then apologise to his landlord and get the door replaced :o

Charlotte see's way too much and calls sanitary pads "special nappies for Mammy's funny poo's" :o

Would Keira eat more if she helped make it? All of mine have loved "helping" to cook. They've always had character plates, and I've said things like "see if you can eat enough to see Bob/Thomas/Winnie" which has made it seem more like a game. Joshua is 12 now and he still has cereal out of a Thomas the Tank Engine bowl on a morning :o

When I visit my parents we still get our puddings in our original bunnykins bowls - family tradition!:rotfl:

Hi bruno - congratulations to E. He's doing so well :T

We are off to see the Very hungry Caterpillar this afternoon at the Book festival. [STRIKE]LO is so excited[/STRIKE] I'm so excited

    Morning all..

I'm on my own, totally on my own - OH has just taken Rhys out to the hospital for the repeat blood test and then going to his Granny's to show Rhys off. I've not been totally on my own apart from nipping out to the shop, since Rhys came home! :o

OH is being annoying. Keeps acting like he can do it all, but he's only done half the morning routine today and I can see him getting stressed... Am I the only one who thinks it's just a bit nice for them to see what we have to do everyone morning and it might explain why sometimes there is no housework done?! ;)

I'm off to have some toast (still warm!) and a cuppa (still hot!), then a shower in peace.. :D I am missing Rhys already though! :(

I can fit 7 in the car, and there will only be 3 of us. DS is at playscheme Monday.

OOh, enjoy your hot toast, tea and peaceful shower! I'm not jealous, honest.

I'd love to sneak out one morning before everyone wakes up, and stay out all day, just to see the state of the children/house/OH when I got back! :rotfl:I bet my dinner wouldn't be ready when I came home! :rotfl:

Does anyone have any recommendations for a small pushchair for a (probably little) 6 month old, please? Preferably something with a cosytoes as it'll be November when I'm using it.

I've been looking at booking a break away for OH's birthday (when I was in a better mood with him last night ;)) and I don't know whether to take the big pram with us or get a little one

ETA: I'm liking the Silvercross Pop (and Halo) so far but I don't think anyone's mentioned having one..

I had a go with a halo in mothercare, it looks pretty funky but I didn't think it that practical for me, weighs a fair amount when folded (but I don't suppose slinging it 1 handed onto a bus is a concern you have lol) and you don't get much for your money, that's why I went for the Maclaren Techno (We got it for £199 from Kiddisave in Walsall too which was a bargain price!) It's a dream to push with the handles being so high, it comes with the pram liner and 'boot' (cosytoes) and a rain cover. There's a UV sheild on the hood and the hood actually unzips at the back so it drops down lower and gives better sun protection than those poxy brollys that are never in the right position... It also has 1 hand fold and a carry handle on the side... Good for slinging on the bus...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I've got and ICandy Cherry pushchair that is quite small and if faces both ways, but instead of buying the cosytoes (£50!) I bought a buggy snuggle.

P.S. I'm jealous there were only fudge (brown) and Liquourice (red & black) available when I bought mine, would love a purple one!

OMG I've just been reading reviews of the iCandy Cherry (thankyou MDW!), and there was one from a woman who's had 38 pushchairs in 18 months!! Does that even beat our Caz?! ;):p
