Sami, that video is brilliant! I wish I'd seen it before I had Celia she doesn't fit in like that anymore!

jha, that video is a otuch fast Celia was demanding attention so I couldn't find a better one, essentially the tieing it on before you put the sprog in is called a pocket wrap front cross carry so if you search for that on youetube you should find one that is good for you :-)

Ring the place and ask, they might let babes in arms in for free given he won't take up a seat!

My mother would kill me!! Tomorrow is her day with Benjamin.

It is also a treat for DSS without having baby brother tagging along ;)

Any suggestions for overcoming Rhys latching on to anything and everything except my nipple?! My top, my arm, my ribs, his own hand, an inch away from my nipple in all directions.. honestly, we've had a very "bouncy" day!

His appetite is definitely back.. 200ml and three breastfeeds in ten hours (should be 200ml in 15hrs)

Hmm, it might take a tremendous amount of convincing to make them think your mum was a babe in arms ;-) Perhaps it's best dss has his baby free day out :-)

No, Celia still does that bless her! I think to quote savvy it's hope over experience! How old is he now Elle, could it be one of the many millions of growth spurts they get when they're small?

r.mac my neighbour locked her baby in the car last year, we phoned the police and fire brigade and they refused to come out. luckily our neighbbour was a fireman and broke one of the windows and we managed to get him out! my heart was in my mouth so i can imagine how you felt at the time!
as for the zapp it is a great pram but it does not lie back and is prone to tipping if bags are placed on the handle! i would probably advise you to go to toys r us and have a look at their umberella buggies as they lie back and usually they have great deals!

thanks for the ideas for food, im still not sure lol and really wanted to do it all tonight so i could chill tom morning! i have been asked to switch shifts so will be doing fri-mon instead if all weekend and tues, OH didnt look impressed lol!
he has been having a hard time with erin screaming non stop and charlie wrecking the place?

    Hi Elle,

How old is Rhys now? There's a big development/growth spurt around 16-20 weeks which is probably why.

Not looking forward to next week my mum's away and Katie is going to a childminder friend of hers for 4 days - no one other than family has every looked after her! She's been a couple of times this week and had a whale of a time but it might be different when it's mummy leaving her there.

I'm also stressing about the dog, it's currently undergoing behaviour modification for separation anxiety and I'm having to put her in kennels during the day as she will wreck the house if left home alone.

Does anyone else's toddlers have little things that they like to do?
    DD self imposed chores are:
Feeding the animals (3 cats 1 dog)
Switching on the washing machine & dishwasher
Getting things out of the fridge when I'm cooking
Helping to unpack the supermarket shopping.

Hope everyones well, congrats to those that need it and hugs to everyone.

    MDW
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!
3 years 9 months and proud of it
    dreams do come true (eventually!)

    erm no :D
Do you do the shove boob in mouth move? When Ed is a bit bouncy that occasionally works but generally I sit there with my boob out until he gets a clue :rotfl:

He'll be 13 weeks on Sunday so 4 weeks corrected :) It's Daddy's weekend off work, so I've taken some milk out to defrost so I can have a solid night's sleep :D It's about time I renewed to freezer stocks but measuring my supply has gone totally out the window! (not expressing for 18 hours yesterday didn't help matters either! :o)

Do you mean lunchbox ideas still caz? Have you searched Old Style? There are lots of threads on there about kids lunchboxes :) (if you want, I'll find the links for you :))

Button inspired me and I've just gone through our cupboards and freezer. Have found 12 meal ideas, plus some more if we bought a few more ingredients. Going to have a big batch cooking day on Sunday and turn all the bits of things into proper meals, plus a big baking session as we have all the ingredients but still seem to buy ready made biscuits and cakes due to lack of effort! I'm trying to avoid shopping except milk, salad and fruit until then end of the month.
