Not sure I have met any proper 'friends' yet but I have met some nice people and Benjamin has some little friends...gotta be worth it!!

    Charming! :D
MM i can snap that although i love love love to dance ... honestly i can dance all night and not be tired x
The thing I miss is nightclubs !!
I hate dance music, but love chatting, having a few drinks and dancing !! Problem with living in a tourist/university town though is that all the nice pubs and clubs are full of students or people that are way too drunk !

We suprised ourselves last week on our first night out since Violet....... dancing at a cheesy 80's nightclub til 3am! (But I don't think I could do it every week!)
My sister told us off ~ apparently, if you were here for the 80's first time round, you're too old to be going to a retro 80's nightclub! :rotfl:

Elle - do you feel better or worse after the app today? I guess it must be a bit of a downer to be brought back down to earth but at the same time things are much better than first thought

    Have some ((HUGS)) anyway :D

Thankyou :) Yeah, pretty much how you suggest - downer to be reminded but still so glad the results are much better than at first. It's just another thing to add to the "waiting game" list - wondering if/when the blood results will show when things go downhill..
We find out on 1st Sep whether we are through to the next round or not. 5 companies make it through to the next round...but we are not sure what we have to do yet...thank you for asking sweetie. xxx

Dare I ask when happens with your job if you don't get it? Hypothetically, obviously, as you ARE going to :D

My 80s were school discos, with my pin disco skirt with black polka dots and matching hairband :)

    I was very cool :cool::rotfl:

    Ooops :o

What I meant to say was in Wolverhampton ;)

Just to make me feel really old there is a retro 90's nightclub in Wolverhampton which plays all the music that was around when I went to Uni :o

now surely 90's is too recent to be 'retro' it wasn't even 10yrs ago!

Someone else will get it...and I will have no job :D

It's all very strange, my job is unique, I created it. The thought that I won't win it is laughable but entirely possible....if anyone works with any government departments you will know that there is no logic involved sometimes

On the up side I have a pretty high industry profile (in the circles I move in at least) so I would hope that some job offers wouldn't be far away...something will turn up (fingers crossed!!)

Having Benjamin has been a great leveller for me. There is no point in worrying about work when I have a beautiful baby boy to worry about :D This crap would have been happening in my career anyway (my pregnancy was kind of timed to happen at this difficult time!!) but before I got pregnant I would have worried myself to death about it! Now I am more concerned with poop and boobies

carla its not a present its for myself as a treat but thanks i'll have a look :) x

i probably didnt make myself out properly - i meant, as long as there is alchohol content in it, after 1/2 down the 2nd glass you wont really *taste* it anyways and you will still end up with the desired effect!!

-- confession - me and OH have drunk half a 10glass bottle of rum tonyt between us!!!!!! lol.
you need to get a wee holiday over to my house ad we will go girly shopping without spending money and then dance the night away !!

Can i come? Itll only be a drive up the road for me anyways!!!!!

Oh, I know what else I was going to say..

    Carla, welcome! :D.

    Thankyou!! :)

i was always lurking for a while, catchin up on how Rhys was doing.

I was going to write something about myself and Christopher befor ei started catching up....
thanks to whoever mentioned the huggies wipes offer at tesco - shall be there tomorrow!!
Also, athe talk about bottles got me thinking, Christopher is quite windy, and is difficult for him to bring it up. he is on TT CTN bottles at the minute (which can i say, the new ones are an ultimate pain in the ****! the measurements arent coloured on the bottle, IFKWIM and is impossible to read how much has been took!!!). would it be beneficial for me to try different bottles do you think?? DD was fine with TT bottles from the start and very easy to wind, so im not sure about ths!??
    Carla-Farla!! :)

Mummy to Katie (27.11.07) and Christopher (05.08.09) ♥♥
