At his 6 week check Doctor told me it was a blocked tear duct, and to keep wiping, but also gently sweep my finger down his nose, by the eye. Within a week it was cleared up!

Have spent the day doing about 7 loads of washing though so only just catching up with the thread. I have noticed that since I went on holiday there have been about 100 pages typed so might have to give reading them all a miss I think.... any chance of a summary so I can catch up.... have noticed a few newbies so hello to you.
oh yes meant to ask, when anyone was expecting their 2nd child, did you find out the sex at your scan or not.... still deciding.....A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Methinks OH needs some TLC tonight. Only had one txt from him today (usually get at least ten), saying he was finally having lunch at half three (started work at seven) and was staying late as wellOnce I can detach Rhys from my boob, I might start thinking about making him some tea!

Hi - Glad you had a nice holiday:)
Yes we found out the sex of our second baby...But unfortunately it wasn't exactly to plan...we had spent weeks talking about whether we would find out the sex and when we were having the scan they thought there may have been some problems with the baby, so I completely forgot to ask about the sex and ended up having a few people scanning me. I was given the option of an amnio, which I took, and found out the sex that way...at least I knew it was 100% accurate:D

I don't think any questions went un answered while you were away. there was lots of moaning about OH's and non sleeping babies, some LO's pooped on the big girls loo. Caz got a job at a fancy organic cafe/shop and MFD got drunk! :rotfl:
We decided not to find out the sex this time (we did with Chris) but the suspense killed me to we ended up having a private scan and I found out but OH didn't0 -

he always knew I knew, it was my friend that had a secret scan, must ask her if she's told her hubby she knew...
here's what martin says about finding cheap misspelled ebay stuff- Spelling mistaykes save you cash.
Many people can't spell (mine's awful) and consequentially mis-enter their eBay entries. This English teacher's nightmare is a bargain hunter's dream: wrongly spelt products attract fewer bids because many don't see them. A few specialist search sites take advantage of this, trawling eBay for all possible spelling mistake combinations.
These include the simple typo search Fatfingers, set up a few years ago by a MoneySaver to help others, Goofbay with its powerful search tools including locating no bidders and specifying buy-it-now items only, and other variants like Low Cost Bid.

Oh, I could scream..
The hospital secretary phoned me on my mobile earlier to say clinic was cancelled. When OH got home, we were chatting and I mentioned Mum had phoned me on the house phone earlier but it hadn't rung, then we realised Dad had unplugged the base unit whilst decorating and not put it back in. OH did then he checked the answerphone.. to find a message from the secretary again saying they'd found another doctor to cover clinic and still to go at the same time!! Of course I didn't get the message and didn't go.. Why couldn't she have tried my mobile when she knew that's how she got hold of me half an hour before?!!!!
I've phoned the hospital to tell them why we didn't show and they had five others who had the same thing happen to them - and the secretary concerned has had her wrists slapped for just leaving message on house phones. I asked how long it'd be before we could see the consultant again and the reply was "Oh, I think because of what happened today they'll arrange it pretty quickly.. it'll be within the next month" - A MONTH?!! Now he'll be on meds for another month that he might not need because we can't get to see the right doctor.. ARGH!0
