Ah not too bad for you then...at least they haven't got you in every day:)

Erin's bad belly is probably just due to the sudden change in diet...it will get better once her system gets used to having more solids than milk. Is your OH bringing her to you at lunch-time for milk or are you not bothering?

Oh god..that's not much is it!
It is most likely just be the change in diet then:)

What to do... There's a play thing on in a different church to our own today and Aimee's been super excited about going, was up and dressed before 8am (which is unheard of without lots of cajoling from me... But a short while ago she just said "oh, I was nearly sick then" and then a few mind after that she did a mini sick (was sick in her mouth for non Michael McIntyre fans) she's insisting she's fine and doesn't feel ill at all... And I'm guilty of the occaisional mini sick myself and I just carry on... Should I just take her anyway?

krystal do you think she is just overexcited? i know abi can be sick if she is all hyped up? if she looks fine and isnt warm etc i would let her go. they will have your contact details if anything does happen!

i was thinking it was the feeding too mel? I really need to get my bum in gear and get in this bath, going for the school shoes at long last lol! am bit annoyed that they think ill do every weekend thats going to be 3 in a row! have told them i dont mind the odd one but its not fair to leave me to do every single one! esp as it will be only time i spend with kids when they go back!

Yeah Caz, you just need to gently but firmly make the point - probably after a few days' work so that they definitely like you and want you around - that constant weekends is not good during term time (and you did mention this before starting) and can they make sure to schedule you off at least every 2nd weekend or whatever you think is manageable?

    Morning fellow parents!

Thank goodness its the weekend, its sun shiny too :D. OH is off all next week so once he gets home at 4pm its childcare 50/50 down the middle, LoL I always feel bad that he has to go to work and I am not working right now, so I take it upon myself to do most of the childare and Lexi has been getting up far too early for my liking for too long now, so OH has promised me two long lie ins this weekend :T It wont happen though, we'll be making the most of the sun! Oh well I'll have to add them to the bank!
Just to add dont get me wrong I dont have to badger him to do things, Im kind of particular about how I want things done and tend to take over without realising, this week though Im having a break.

Think I might go and get my nails done Monday or Tuesday while I have him to have the kids!

Pink so sorry about your dog, my two are part of the family (((hugs)))

Mfd, great news about Benjamin :D The stuff about his weight - I just nod and smile ;) You know your child, he's happy, healthy and progressing well!

Mel, Lexi wakes at 5am for a feed but she hasnt been fed since about 6pm so at the moment I am feeding her then...Just having trouble getting her back off though so thats it for the day then

Krystal, I would still take her I know Joshua will let me know if he is really ill and if she wants to go I dont think it'll come to anything - fingers crossed anyway.

Caz, every weekend is a bit much, didnt you say you had told them that you didnt want to do both days at the weekend? Hope you can get things sorted there hun, maybe once you have done this weekend explain that you'll do the next one but the children are going back to school and weekend is the only time you will have with them? Oh yeah good luck with the shoes, I hate buying school uniforms!

  • Caz, is she getting enough water/juice/whatever during the day. I find Izzy gets a lot more constipated when she doesn't drink as much water, now she's having a lot less milk. I have to remember to offer her a drink whenever I have one. Oh, and I keep forgetting to burp her after solids/drinks as well as after milk, so might be worth checking that with whoever is caring for her too.

I'm a bad bad bad bad person... I've just ordered the HTC Magic phone... instead of the iPhone I wanted :rotfl: well... Vodafone offered me a contract for £24.74 per month with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet from the phone and a one off £15 payment for the handset and free insurance for 3 months... So it's arriving Monday and I'll have a play with it and see what it's like... if I don't like it I'll send it back and cancel my contract and go buy the iPhone... :)
