  • Right - I am off to bed!

Covered in breastmilk! I bought the medela harmony handpump today and it is bl00dy brilliant!! It really got my milk flowing and when I stopped to type a message it carried on flowing all over my lap!!

MUCH, MUCH better than the TT CTN Manual Pump.

I love a bit of dirty talk in the evenings ;)
Does anyone remember Mr Hanky (?) the Christmas Poo??? :rotfl::rotfl:

my nappy song is (to the tune of Peter Rabbit has a fly upon his nose)

Dyly - wily has a stinkie in his pants
Dyly - wily has a stinkie in his pants
Dyly - wily has a stinkie in his pants
so we clean him and we wipe him and the stinkie goes away

There is no 'fore milk' and 'hind milk' but the milk changes constantly throughout a feed. the softer your breasts the fattier the milk so the end of the feed when baby isn't really sucking but has the little sucks that feel like butterfly wings are when the really fatty milk is coming through and this is also when your body gets lots of signals to increase supply...

Oooh thanks for that info Krystal. I love the little 'butterfly wing' sucks. Thats when she lies back with her little eyes semi closed and occasionally smiles as she sucks.

Going to read back now. Leila is fast asleep no doubt exhausted after a trip to the park this afternoon but I fear with this muggy weather she won't sleep for long.

Big (((HUGS))) to Pink on the loss of your doggie.

Leila's hungry cry is Maaaaaa accompanied by lip trembling and her po face. I'm so sadistic, sometimes I let her cry because I love it so much!!!

I do that too mookie, Dylan doesnt really cry as such, but he puckers his lips like in a kiss and trembles the bottom one and does a noise that sounds a bit like a kitten !!
It is too cute for words :)

Yup, I'm another one guilty of that :o (took so long for him to cry, I'm just catching up listening to it.. well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! ;)).

He pulls the cutest sad face when he's frustrated (trying to move).. *melts*

We have had 2 days of crying yesterday and today as he has a really sore tummy and hasnt pooed for quite a few days, and it is the 1st time really that he has cried :) Its normally wimpers or his kitten noise, so as much as you don't like to hear them cry, it has been quite nice to know that he can do it !!
Also he is not the most talkative of babies, so to know that there is a voice, and a loud one at that, is really nice :)

Have you tried cycling his legs, MM? Usually works eventually on Rhys :)

ETA: When are his first jabs? He'll cry then! :p
