    Does anyone have trumpettes?

Are the 0-12m ones small? Would I be better getting 1-2yo ones? I have just had to do a sock cull because Benjamins feet are too big!

I am off to buy 9-12m sleepsuits too because he is nearly too long for his 6-9m ones (he is not 5 months yet!!!)
I've not got them but I'd go for 1-2yr ones because I don't know who makes up these sock sizes but Chris was in the ones that claim to be for 2yo's at about 9mths

Gah.. I've just been reading the DLA forms. Think I'll save them for when I see the HV next week. They ask questions like "Does the child need help getting around?" and "Does the child need help going to the toilet?"... Yes, he's an 11wk old baby! The forms are for all children under 16.. they could do with having a baby version too  Apparently I've also got to find out Rhys' NI number.. I thought you only got them at 16

'Oh heck... It's up to his neck'

I love fox's whipped creams... They're very crumbly though... Good job I'm eating them on hubby's side of the bed ;) Shhh...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I didn't tell my poop story from last night.

When I went to check on Benjamin during the evening his room really stank and he was pumping away!! When I went in again before I went to bed he had done a poop - but I didn't want to wake him so I thought I would leave him to it and change him when he woke.

He woke about 5.30am and I went in, put him on the changing table (to ear-shattering sqeals) and changed his nappy but no poop

I was absolutely baffled....until I looked to the end of the changer and there was a bag with a dirty nappy in it that hadn't been tied up _pale_

Poor little Benjamin was distraught and didn't go back down properly after that (I would normally get another 2 or 3 hours out of him!) hence why we were up at 9am this morning

A National Insurance Number is unique to you and you will keep that number all of your life.
HM Revenue & Customs use it to record and credit National Insurance contributions to your National Insurance account. You will need these National Insurance contributions and credits when you come to claim benefit, whether it is for a short while, like Incapacity Benefit or long term, such as Basic State Pension.
    • Your National Insurance Number is personal to you.
    • It is your account number allocated to you for you to use in all your dealings with HM Revenue & Customs, the Social Security Agency in Northern Ireland or the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
    • It is not proof of your identity and it looks something like this: AB123456C. (This National Insurance number is only an example and should not be used as your own number)
You must give your National Number to your employer when start work.
A National Insurance Number is automatically allocated to people who:
    • are under 16 years old
    • live in the UK, and
    • for whom Child Benefit is in payment.
These people are automatically registered and a National Insurance number card sent to them just before their 16th birthday. If you have not received your National Insurance card automatically you should; If you are under 20, telephone the National Insurance Registration Helpline. If you are 20 or over, telephone Department for Work and Pensions, JobCentre plus on 0845 600 0643.
You do not have a legal right to a National Insurance number, but there are circumstances when you are legally obliged to apply for one and register for National Insurance purposes.
If you are not entitled to automatically receive a National Insurance Number, you must apply for a National Insurance number by contacting Department for Work and Pensions, JobCentre plus on 0845 600 0643.
When one of the following applies:
    • you want to claim benefit
    • you are starting work
    • you are self-employed
    • you are looking for work
    • your partner is claiming benefit for you
    • you want to pay voluntary NI contributions and would benefit from paying them.
When anyone applies for a National Insurance number Department for Work and Pensions, JobCentre plus have to:
    • check their identity
    • make sure they need a National Insurance number.
Further information on the National Insurance number application process and the types of evidence required at interview can be found on the DWP web site.
