Speaking of red books, how often does everyone else get their LOs head circumference and length measured and recorded?Hi ladies,
Am so upset, my dog died today. He started being poorly about lunchtime. It looked like he had cystitis again like he had a few months ago. I was going to take him to the vets when DH got home. Anyway I was feeding Caitlyn in the living room and she fell asleep. It was quiet in the kitchen so I went to check how he was. He was on the dining room floor, I looked at his chest and could see he wasn't breathing, I called his name and he didn't respond. I can't believe it. I had to take him down to the vets, luckily my neighbours were in and put him in the car for me. He was like a child to me, it's not really sinking in yet. It was just so sudden.
Sorry for the sad note - hope you are all well. Sorry haven't read back today.both my doggies died within a couple of weeks of each other about 3mths ago its just awful isn't it xxx

pink - yes you can take anything you could whilst pregnant
So a paracetamol is fine... I'm so sorry to hear about your doggy
Elle - Alexandra has never had her head circumfrence measured since leaving hospital... she only got her length measured by the doctor who gave her her first jabs so farthe only reason her weight is monitored is because I take her to the open baby clinics and weigh her - if the HVs are too busy they don't have a clue about how much the baby has gained/lost/failed to gain...
Now I have a few minutes of peace (infamous last words!) I thought I'd share what happened at the sling meet
Apart from running late as always it was pretty good - they had LOADS of slings there and we have borrowed a brand new one for a month - for the princely sum of £2(£5 membership fee) - not a bad price to find out if we can get on with it before we fork out £70 on it!
They did say to hang on to the ring sling a bit longer as Alex might be better in it when she's a little older and better at communicating etc
I really wanted to try the Maitai slings but they all went on loan before I even got there lol!! Hohum.
I'll try to find some details about the sling I borrowed but i left it in the car so can't remember which one it was lol!!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
