Oh dear, I just woke up from a nap and thought it was morning! Started ranting at OH that he shouldn't be playing with Rhys, he should be at work, he was going to get in trouble, yadda yadda yadda..
Think I ought to have another nap!

Sorry elle - which were you told? That it was all the same or that it was different foremilk and hindmilk?
I was told by the MW at the hospital and my own MW that it was like a 3 course meal...starter milk, main course milk followed by dessert milkplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
I went out to do some errands and came back to Keira sleeping on the sofa, since about 7 says OH, well thats just great because she will wake up within 15mins from now and won't go down till later. Great!
MFD - Sorry for asking, why has Benjamin got to go to the hospital? I don't really know many peoples backstorys IFYGWIM? Has he lost a lot of weight? Probably just a wee growth spurt0 -

Sorry, was told there was no difference. Or at least unpublished research showed "they" didn't think there was a difference..0 -
Elle, we've had that exact same scare as they try to roll to their doom - I bet everyone has. The slightly reassuring thing is the number of people who've told me about their failures to catch baby, and how after 5 minutes of crying everything was fine...
Celia seems to be constantly chucking herself at the ground (usually when she's on it already so she doesn't have far to go) we've even managed a trip to casualty because of it (she was fine she was just sick after she bumped her head but there wasn't even a lump and she was spectacularly cheery once we cleaned her up!)My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »It may have something to do with his massive pukiness on Fri/Sat last week
I vote yes, I'm pretty sure they usually lose weight when they're poorly anyway but if he was chuking it up as quickly as he could get it in he's bound to be skinnier! Poor Benjamin.Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -
i have always been told that there is a foremilk and a hind milk. you have to make sure they finished the one side before giving the other as changing too quick wasnt good for wind??? also they last longer??? i dont really know though lol! What's for you won't go past you0

No problem!
When Benjamin was born his left hand was bent over in a funny way and they thought that he may have sustained an injury during my forceps delivery....it turned out that the cheeky monkey had his hands in a funny position whilst he was inside me (he used to sit with his right hand over the top of his left wrist). We had physio appointments and brain scans and all was showing fine. He was discharged by the physio in June and then we were seeing the consultant for what we thought would be the last time today
He has lost a couple of ounces since he was last weighed 4 weeks ago...but because he hasn't gained anything for a month it looks really dramatic on the charts IWSWIM.
If I had forgotten my red book like last time then there wouldn't have been a problem :rolleyes:please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
