Just got home and I'm pooped!
Met up with a friend and had a picnic in the park with the kids, she was watching 2 little girls too, and the girl who was 3, was Keira's best friend apparently! Feel sorry for that wee girl, her parents are on drugs and she is apparently plonked in front of a tv all day to keep her out of there way. Cruelty, I swear.
Keira managed to skidmark her pants somehow, god knows how! Lucky I had a pullup in my bag or she'd of had a nice breeze round her butt as she had a dress on!
Think I'm away to have a nice bath0 -
Thanks for info on sleeping bags, although Tine, boohiss @ WTP!
(thanks for the thought tho'). We do actually have one which has WTP on is (gift from SIL)..
Really like the fleecy sleepsuit, Sami. I do have a almost-forgotten-about Next giftcard in my purse so think I'll get it. Will have a look at Mothercare too as we have a couple of cards for there too. The 7.5/7.8lb sizes should take him up to being big enough for a proper sleeping bag. Some 7.5lb things fit now, but the 7.8lb normal sleepsuits we have from Next (via ebay) are too big for now0 -
Btw, do any of you have a Stuff4Sale site in your area? www.stuff4sale.co.uk isn't working at the moment, but the one for our area is www.stuff4saleingrimsby.co.uk and if you click on the Help page, there's a dropdown menu on the left which lists the other areas which have sites.
It's like the classified ads from the local paper but with pictures, or like local eBay.
Just thought it might be another place for you to look for a Jumperoo, or (Tine) for you to sell baby clothes etcThere are 8 Jumperoos listed atm for between £40-60.

I'm a bit gutted to report that Benjamin was not discharged by the consultant this afternoon as we had hoped
She said that developmentally he is advanced and his motor skills are particularly good but he has lost weight over the last 4 weeks (since I last had him weighed) so he is now around the 25th centile for weight but the 91st for height.
She was pretty encouraging to carry on with the breastfeeding just to make sure he is feeding often enough for long enough but nevertheless I feel a bit deflated...
Another appointment booked for 10 December 2009 - I really thought that we would be free of the hospital after this afternoon
On the positive side, she is convinced that there is no birth related injury and she was impressed with all his skills but she won't discharge a baby that is losing weight...please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
*hugs* MFD xx
Is Benjamin due a growth spurt? Maybe he's just grown up before he's growing out - probably hard to do both at the same time!0 -

all about the same i think, The advice is they need to be 7lb before going in one tho.
does he mind being swaddled? I swaddle Ed with his arms still free or you could put him in a feecey suit
Asda have some gorgeous bright blue bugs bunny fleecy sleepsuits at the moment! Absolutely beautifulDid you just get the one? We got the short one handwritten, plus a long one handwritten and two typed long ones. Got the extras specifically cos MFD warned us you had to fold it!I sent one of the typed ones and will use that same one if I have to take/send it anywhere.
I love you Elle - you listen to me :rotfl:*hugs* MFD xx

Maybe...he has grown lots height wise, he is a very tall boy who has grown 18cm in his 20 1/2 weeks of life!!
It may have something to do with his massive pukiness on Fri/Sat last week
I just hate it because I thought we were doing really welllosing weight over a week wouldn't bother me...but over a month....
...I will be forcing my boobies on the poor chap at every opportunity!!
I also feel very guilty because I forgot to take him to clinic 2 weeks ago and yesterday I went for the end of the session and the (stand-in) nurse had already left. If I had my head in the right place I would have known that there was a problem already.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

At least they dont think there are any birth related injuries, and that was the thing you wanted to hear
If its any comfort, Jasmine was and still is a really tall lanky person !!! As a baby she was WELL above average in height and was soo skinny !! The HV all told me that so long as she was healthy and was eating and thriving, then I wasnt to worry about her not putting on weight as fast as she should. The two best things I have done with my life

My HV came yesterday to do her hearing test and said about weighing her, I just held her in 2 hands and said that she felt heavier so she didn't need weighing. If there was a problem they'd be unhappy. And it was Benjamin that was poorly wasn't it? Or am I getting muddled as usual as they dramatically loose weight when they have a bug. Hope you're ok MFD. XXX
Did Sami get an answer as to whether or not cranberry juice affects BF?Too many children, too little time!!!0
