R.mac: asda had a back pack carrier recently, one with a frame on it-no idea if it's good or anything :)
glad you got and liked my complement!

Krystal - what a very sweet thing to say. Thank you, I needed a boost this morning.

oh MFD I feel for you! The number of times I've not bothered applying for a job because they had an application form with faffy questions :p
I wouldn't mind but I wasn't applying for high flying things, just bloody admin! All they need to know is that I'm honest, presentable, polite and can work phones/computers/fax machines!!

Don't say JUST Admin!!! Admin is what makes the world go around. I worked Admin for ages after I ran away from the law (not as exciting as it sounds!! I am legally trained but I don't practice!) no high flyer would be going anywhere without a good Admin person behind them :A

Happy half birthday to you, Happy half birthday to you, Happy half birthday to Annabel happy half birthday to YOU!!!!!! *in best singing voice*

Yep, my little girly is now a whole 6 months old.

My mum and granny are coming over to visit so we are having a wee party at lunchtime for her :D

DH announced last night that he can't wait any longer for a holiday so I have re-suggested my idea of self-catering in Aviemore. He seems keen so I'm looking for inspiration - anyone anything they can recommend?

Also, can anyone recommend a backpack-style baby carrier? thanks x

PS - I'm still torn about a jumperoo!

Happy Half Birthday Annabel :bdaycake: :kisses3: (am I allowed to give her a kiss? I haven't got swine flu!!)

Very jealous of your impending holiday - ours is on hold  but we are making definite plans for Florida in February (in MILs villa :T)

mrsmb - I think any line is a positive but not sure if it is under the fold - like Krystal I would have peed on them all by now!! TBH the ladies on the pregnancy thread may have better memories about this kind of stuff :o

Morning all, I woke up in such a good mood today, must be the funshine! :)

    Happy Half birthday Annabell!

Well done on the walkers and crawlers!
Lexi sat on her own yesterday for about 90 seconds and boy can she get around with the wriggling, I popped her on the playmat yesterday and put the dogs out so I could do the dishes - when I came back in she was no longer in the lounge but in the dining room! (we have an open plan downstairs) I only did some dishes! Bless she will be off before I know it, fully expected though as I heard girls are supposed to be quicker than boys and Joshua was walking at 9 months ;)

Krystal thanks so much for those vouchers x

MFD what everyone else said about you being clever....

Caz, hope your feeling a little better, I know I dont know you all that well, but I am really proud of you going and getting a job on top of all the other things your having to deal with at the moment and you should be really proud of yourself too!

Buttons hope today brings you a better time with your OH

I am kind of on a roll this morning, stripped my bed and remade it, washed it and it almost dry. Joshuas bedding is in the machine and remade that. Done the dishes and scrubbed the worktops and kithcen floor. Put yesterdays washing away and scrubbed a mysterious mark that appeared on the stairs carpet and gave them a good hoovering. Just off to clean the bathroom....... in a minute :o Oh yeah have also packed up about five parcels some for Tines friend and others from ebay sales! Have made about £900 on ebay the last 5 weeks :D

I have bought Lexi a jumperoo, its coming tomorrow! WooHoo

Another one here very jealous of a holiday, ours last year was a total sham, we were out in Gran Canaria at the timeshare and couldnt get home as we flew with XL. Doesnt look as if were going in October either as we had planned, so now were not sure what to do about our grown up holiday in April next year, me thinks it will have to be a family one now!

hi 3 typically i have missed you! i know what you mean about taking them in and delousing yourself lol!

well i have had the grand total of 2 hours sleep? am sitting here in tears and erin is playing away quite happily none the wiser that her mummy has to go and work soon. im so tired and i really dont know how im going to get through the rest of the day.

Hugs Caz! Will lots of coffee help? I can't imagine going back to work now with three - so with five! You have my admiration!
As for the nitty ones next door - its so unfair on the children! Fair enough, everyone gets nits now and again, but these are there permenantly, and its not like she hasn't seen them, just looking down at her head you can see hundreds crawling!

To celebrate, she (and the other two!) are going to stay the night at my mums tonight, for the first time! We're going for a Mexican and a drink or two!

    Morning

Mrsmb - I would just go and use a few more of them tests up, I had one actually that came up like that...turned out that it must have been faulty as I went and bought a more expensive one which was negative...two weeks later AF turned up:( Probably not what you wanted to hear, but it might be different for you....

    Hi 3:D

    Is Tine missing?

Kai slept great last night, he went to bed at 7pm and woke at 5.30. I gave him his dummy and he went back to sleep until after 6am:D

His clothes are annoying me - His 3-6mth ones are all looking small on him, but the 6-9mth are all too big on him! Maybe I should try and fatten him up a bit, they might fit then;)

Planning a trip to the park today, I have bottles of juice and water chilling in the fridge, the breadmaker has just beeped so I will make some cheese butties and dh is going to nip to asda for mik and flour, so will get him to pick up some chewee bars, I have also made some fairy cakes that we will take too:money: We are going to take bikes/scooters, balls and the dog, lets hope it stays nice now:D

    Mel x

Hi Mel Have a lovely day - we went to the park yesterday, and Violet had her first go on the swings. She loved it and screamed when we stopped pushing her. :D
