Thing is though, he comes home, eats dinner and naps a bit on the sofa. So by the time he is "energized" to play games it's about 7:30, and I have no problem taking Keira out then for an hour to the park as she doesn't go down to bed till nearer 9 (though I'm sure when she starts nursery, it will go earlier as she'll be tired) it's that the dark nights are coming in now.

Guess we could do painting in her bedroom, I need to buy her more playdough actually, she left the lids off last time and they went rock solid, also, be careful as little bits of it dry up and if you stand on it, it's like glass!

I've got the opticians tomorrow and think I'll take Keira to the hairdressers for a trim, and see if they can thin her fringe out a bit and make it sit to the side more, her fringe reminds me of mine when i was a kid :o brings back bad memories lmao, of my mum cutting my eyebrow off with her sewing scissors. No wonder I was teased!

Tough night in MFD towers :(

After 40 minutes of debating the difference between demonstrating experience and providing evidence (thoughts anyone?) via web-conference with my new business partner I sent hubby (who was sat 10 feet away!) a text saying I needed a G&T before I started to cry...

Tender has to be in 1 week tomorrow and we are still debating the meaning of the questions...you need a degree in management jargon to understand what they are looking for  bl00dy Quasi-Autonomous-Non-Governmental-Organisations

    G&T was yummy though!

On a lighter note, went up to Benjamin because he was whimpering and moaning and he was on his front with his bum in the air doing massive bottom burps!!! It stank like a teenagers bedroom :rotfl::rotfl:

We have a consultant appointment tomorrow which should be a matter of simply discharging Benjamin with no evidence of any birth-related injury! Will be glad to put the whole scenario behind us...

    :j:jYey, someone missed me! :j:j

Between me trying to give OH some attention, and DD dominating the laptop to check on what Hannah Montana is up to - I've been trying to keep up, but not getting much chance to post!

I'll be back in about three weeks, when they're back at school! :D

oh MFD I feel for you! The number of times I've not bothered applying for a job because they had an application form with faffy questions :p
I wouldn't mind but I wasn't applying for high flying things, just bloody admin! All they need to know is that I'm honest, presentable, polite and can work phones/computers/fax machines!!

I really want the latest must have bracelet but only stockist I can find is h samuel and they don't do voucher codes but do do 12.5% quidco (before VAT) still cost £45ish then £10-20 per charm

    Morning everyone!

I've been lurking for a while and posted back in April when I thought I could be pregnant (irregular cycles, varying from 28 to 60+ days). I tested a few times and they were all negative, so hubby and I decided to abandon the tests for a while because we were so disappointed every time we got a negative.

My last period was on 13th June, so we got some cheap 10 mIU tests off ebay and I tested this morning. The control line appeared almost immediately. But..... (and this is the bit that's confused hubby and I, so we're still none the wiser)..... a very faint pink line appeared which, judging by previous posters, would be a positive ("any line is a positive, no matter how faint"). Please could someone tell me if the second line that appears is underneath the folded back plastic part of the test strip, or should it be on the 'exposed' part of the strip, directly underneath the control line? It's not clear from the instructions where it should be!

A line appeared after about a minute (so still within the test time limit), under the 'folded back' part of the strip. So I'm wondering if it still stands that "any line is a line, which is a positive result", or if the line is in the wrong place and is totally invalid?!

    Thanks for your help!!!
