Right I'll see what I can do, I might be able to magically send you my card as long as you would promise to send it back, even if you didn't I'd just have to come to Fruchie and ask someone where does the mad one with 5 kids stay :rotfl:Could you just send it back at the end of the kids hols?

Caz, send your OH to buy the school shoes whilst you are at work, (and get someone to be in the shoe shop secretly videoing the carnage that ensues!)

I really do understand where people are coming from on this and I'm not claiming some sort of sexual equality offence here or anything, but oh my god I feel the same (inverted) way at the moment; doing half the housework, all the shopping, all the cooking, going to work, then coming back to give Elijah supper and look after him for an hour because OH needs a break. When work is stressful I am in danger of burning out.

So, beers or drinks of your choice all round, unwind whenever you have the chance!

Yay Celia :) she's a few weeks ahead of Elijah on this one, E is 7 weeks older than her but has only been cruising and doing the one-step-and-fall-over thing for a fortnight or so :p they'll be walking very soon and won't that be lovely!
I think its the hardest part of being a parent. Hubby comes home tired from work and first thing mum wants to do is hand over the baby coz she's been with them all day and is tired. Its a sort of viscous circle thing but to all those who feel like it'll never end.. it does get much better :) (unless like me you're stupid enough to start again with another baby  :D)

I always slightly resent that my friends little girl who's 8wks younger than Chris always does things first :o I have to keep reminding myself that its just because she's a girl and he'll get there in his own time:o
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

funny I wqas just thinking about crawling. How old is Izzy now (sorry I forget :o). MY LO is trying to get her knees up, but can't hold up her torso at the same time and when she holds her torso up, can't get her knees underneath her - but is trying VERY hard!!! We've had a couple of days where she's just decided not to have her afternoon nap (bed time has been early those nights ;)).

My hubby looks very like Craig Doyle:j I lilke my men to be tall, dark and handsome :D Don't tell him I said that though, his head is big enough!

Firstly, who is this Craig Doyle that everyone keeps talking about?
Oh, and while we are on Sammi's chefs, I quite like that Valentine Whatsit, but don't tell DH ;)

Izzy is will be 7 months on the 14th. She can lift herself up on her hands and knees and rocks forwards and backwards, but she hasn't worked out she has to move her knees one at a time, rather than together. So either she stays in the same place, or she ends up going backwards :rotfl:. I'm sure it won't be long though.

    arrrgggghhhhh shut up!!!"

sorry can't actually shout that to a baby but saying it in my head wasn't working so thought I'd try here

    ETA: didn't work :(

I tell Izzy to shut up sometimes. I kept catching myself calling her a daft cow today too :o - must stop that before she can copy me or she will be saying it at nursery, or to my Mum! Then I'd be in trouble, my Mum HATES that phrase with a passion for some reason.
